“The talent wasn’t there, yet they won based on work ethic”? What kind of double talk is that? Lol.
Kawhi absolutely has elite talent, but that logic doesn’t hold up. That roster was loaded — past and future All-Stars, NBA All-Defensive First Team players, All-NBA selections, a Conference Finals MVP, a G-League champion and Finals MVP, a Most Improved Player, and more. That wasn’t some talent-deficient underdog story. It was a deep, high-IQ, two-way team built to win.
Had he stayed, maybe he continues adding to that legacy. Instead, the post-Toronto run hasn’t exactly matched the championship trajectory. Kawhi has turned himself into a huge disappointment—loser.
"the talent wasn't there" is bonkers….Lowry, Gasol, Siakam, Ibaka, Van Vleet, Norm Powell, O.G., Danny Green. Maybe he just misspoke, but man that sounds crazy! Before the trade that sent him and Danny there, the team was already consistently good. They got to an Eastern Conference final and somehow won 2 games against the 2016 Cavs team.
Humans are evolving 😂😂😂
😮Nuff said.🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
We see what the clippers did with talent lol !
