He is a better defender than Royce and Dunn and he is a hustler, he finna help out Mark Williams a lot with getting rebounds and he is a good defender when getting backed down and on the perimeter.
I doubt Dunn is going anywhere. He's 23 and Haywood is 29. Our draft capital is pretty close to zero in the upcoming years. Dunn's first year almost doesn't count. Bud was not good at player development. If you compare Ryan to other 3 and D wings first couple years like Amen Thompson, Bruce Bowen and DFS, you'll see he's holding his own. Amen is a way better defender but his offense is worse than Ryan's. Ryan is a better rebounder than all of the 3 I mentioned. Give it time. But for now, we have some vets that will help the young guys. My guess is Haywood takes Liver's minutes since Liver's is so unfortunately injury prone
