Teams had interest in Pwill for his first two season. We likely could of had a haul. Waited too long. Lavine had value. Waited too long. Same with Demar, Coby, Drummond and Vucevic. While at the same time giving up on Gafford, Lauri, Ayo and others.

acme can't spot talent. Look at how much top flight talent he let walk out the door. And then the guys he kept are on bad contracts. Look at the contract he gave to Patrick Williams. Look at the contract he gave to vuc.
He did well with Kobe and ayo contracts. And then traded them for a bag of chips.
I don't fault akme for drafting pat Williams. I fault him for that bad contract he's on.

Talking about unwatchable basketball, I'm a Wolves fan and we've suffered through bad teams for decades. We had one year with Garnet, but mostly wasted his prime. It's is due to front office. For example the year Curry was drafted, the Wolves GM had 2, 1st round choices and passed on Curry twice to select 2 other point guards. Think about that, 2 other POINT GUARDS. This guy is so stubborn that he still says to this day that he didn't make a mistake not drafting Curry. I'm sure Golden State sends him a Christmas card every year for giving them one of the top 3 point guards in history, and maybe the best. It sucked having the worst record, without trying to tank, and getting the 5th choice consistently. Anyways, Wolves look pretty good now and thanks for Ayo, our missing piece. Rob will be able to grow with the Bulls while the Wolves are in win now mode. Regards

It wasn’t drafting PWill that was disaster, it was bidding against themselves with a 5 year contract, player option in the 5th year at $18M/yr. That move was universally panned, and rightfully so. Let’s hope MB stays healthy and continues to develop, Giddy and Tre heal and come back strong next season. Noa spends next year building up and maybe he’s really NBA ready in 2027. We need at least 2 good draft picks in this draft period, pray we get lucky. The front office getting clever and doing some horse trading in the off season might help, we’ll see. Hopefully in September we’ll be excited to see a new Bulls team in action. Go Bulls!
