UCLA didn’t just win — they blew out Indiana 92–48 with discipline and control from start to finish. From the opening possessions, the Bruins dictated tempo, spacing, and defensive execution, never allowing Indiana to settle into rhythm. Unlike tighter battles earlier in the season, this game never felt in doubt. UCLA stayed composed, connected, and deliberate on both ends, turning defensive stops into efficient offense and steadily widening the margin throughout the afternoon.
Lauren Betts anchored the performance with 16 points, 14 rebounds, and 3 assists, establishing position early and forcing constant defensive attention. Whether finishing inside or creating opportunities for teammates, she controlled the interior and kept Indiana on its heels all afternoon.
Kiki Rice once again controlled the flow from the guard spot, finishing with 17 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists, managing pace while keeping the offense organized. She picked her spots efficiently, ensuring UCLA maintained balance while consistently creating scoring opportunities.
Gabriela Jaquez added 11 points, bringing physical drives and defensive intensity that kept pressure on Indiana whenever they tried to find momentum. Her effort helped UCLA maintain control in key stretches.
Gianna Kneepkens contributed 12 points, stretching the floor and punishing defensive collapses, reinforcing UCLA’s inside-out balance that kept Indiana scrambling defensively.
Charlisse Leger-Walker added 12 points and 3 assists, serving as a steady connector who kept possessions flowing smoothly and prevented defensive breakdowns.
The bench also played an important role in sustaining control. Angela Dugalic added 4 points and strong rebounding presence, while Sienna Betts chipped in 10 points, helping UCLA dominate the interior and maintain physical control when rotations shifted. Lina Bilić also contributed 10 points, providing valuable scoring and floor balance that kept the Bruins’ momentum steady.
The victory over Indiana showed more than scoring margin — it reflected sustained control, shared responsibility, and discipline across forty minutes. UCLA dictated how the game was played, neutralized runs before they could start, and executed consistently on both ends.
It was another complete team performance — reinforcing why this group continues separating through structure, balance, trust, and the ability to take control early and never let opponents back into the game as March approaches.
Very pleased to see Sienna Betts and Lena Bilic get significant play time and develop even further. We're going to need them in the near future! 💙💛🏀
