I Rebuilt the Sacramento Kings in NBA 2K26…

The Sacramento Kings are 12-44 at the NBA All Star Break… and it’s time to rebuild.

In Episode 1 of my first ever NBA 2K26 MyLeague rebuild series, we start in “Start Today” mode with real NBA records and stats from February 12th. GM Scott Perry wants to build around Nique Clifford and Keegan Murray — so it’s time to blow this roster up.

After finishing with the worst record in the NBA, we fall to the 5th pick in the draft lottery (because of course we do). But we cooked up a TRADE to move up to #3 and landed AJ Dybantsa — the T-Mac-esque wing from BYU projected to go #2 in real life.

Then things got wild…

We traded Zach LaVine in a 3-team deal, and sent Domantas Sabonis + a future first to land JA MORANT.

Now the new core:
• Ja Morant
• AJ Dybantsa
• Keegan Murray
• Nique Clifford
• Maxime Raynaud
• Devin Carter
• Dylan Cardwell

Can this new-look Kings team actually compete?

We even played our first NBA Cup home game vs the 14-3 Phoenix Suns — and it got intense.
