Second Half Expectations: Anfernee Simons, Jaden Ivey & Bulls Coaching

With the All-Star break behind us, the real evaluation begins. In today’s episode, Haize and Pat break down post-ASB expectations for key pieces who could shape the Chicago Bulls’ second-half trajectory.

First up: Anfernee Simons. What should fans expect from Simons offensively after the break? Can he raise his efficiency, take command in clutch situations, and become the reliable scoring option Chicago needs down the stretch? 🏀🔥

Next, the spotlight shifts to Jaden Ivey and what growth must look like in the second half of the season. The guys analyze his development curve, defensive consistency, decision-making, and whether he can take another leap as the games intensify. 📈🐂

Finally, the biggest question: Billy Donovan. What does success look like for the Bulls’ head coach after the break? Is this stretch about playoff positioning, player development, or setting the foundation for a bigger offseason pivot? Haize and Pat examine Donovan’s adjustments, rotation management, and long-term fit. 👀💼

Second-half expectations. Player growth. Coaching pressure.

  1. We traded Ayo so we could lose more games ,we already had the sg that was the perfect fit next to giddy. Can catch and shoot. Got one of the best first steps in the league to run with giddy and can guard multiple positions
