    It's an amazing time for my Knicks. Before the ASG they lost Yabusele and are getting acclimated with Jose Alvarado. When they return from the ASG they have another new teammate Jeremy Sochan. I see what they are saying about Sochan being a small ball 5, but when Mitch is available, Sochan should play behind OG when he returns. Alvarado, Duce/Clarkson, Shamet, Sochan and Robinson. Going from OG to Sochan we won't lose defensively.

    That's coo as hell Troy, my guy giving back to the community. I hope we win & I hope we beat by 20 at least.

    As far as the small ball stuff, it has worked with the Spurs with him so that's fine. Long as we get this win, I don't put much into regular season games but I still wanna see the Knicks win, I would like us to win or tie the season series vs every top East team. I want us to come out on top & take that #1 just because I want us to do it all, however if we not the #1 seed but still win a chip I'll definitely take that but if we can win a chip & be #1 in the East why not, I want it all it's been 50+ years for us but a chip is what matters.

    Bridges OG sochan MO Mitch… If that was a full quarter no team is scoring over 20, it's just not happening

    And only thing that sucks with the small ball is usually when you're giving up size for this small ball speed, For the most part you're usually giving up size for three-point shooting as well and I don't think I've heard his deep ball on point

    Small ball should be situational depending on the team. My biggest concern is having Mitch, Hart and Sochan on the floor together. The offense would suffer and free throw shooting would dip. Can Sochan defend multiple positions? Yes. But lets be real he isnt elite. Ive seen alot of people hyping up how great we just got defensively. He is better than Yabusele on defense but we give up offense. I also dont want to take Diawaras minutes unless he starts to regress. I still think we have a huge problem at SG unless they start Shamet. Bridges fighting thru screens will always be a problem especially with Kat dropping back. Hopefully it all works out, I think our biggest concern right now is OG's health. Without a healthy OG to guard wings we just dont have a chance. I also think after the initial5 minutes of the game coach should stagger Brunson and Kats minutes. They both each are not great defenders, but when teams hunt them out together we just dont have answers. Hiding 1 player is tough, but trying to hide 2 is almost impossible.

    Bench schohan, hart, shamet, deuce, Alvarado
    diawara and Kolek fill in where needed

    I think he's to small to play center, centers are 6-11 to 7-2 and playing 8 players will not get you a championship today

    I doubt we see a lot of small ball we finally fixed our defense he can help
    with these 2 big Detroit guards we struggle covering

    It would be cool to see NY play a 10 man rotation, like the pacers did last year; having fresher bodies on the court and in crunch time. But I understand it’s a delicate balancing act with match ups, who’s hot, who’s cold, team chemistry, and individuals finding their rhythm. 🤞🤞🤞Thursday is thee statement game of the season. 🤞🤞🤞

    Exactly. Sochan is match-up versatility. A guy who will bring it every night and can fill several positions. He will also keeps legs fresh in rotation as we roll into the second half of the season & playoffs. NBA is a long season. Mike will find him minutes.
