Flagg had elite finishing at duke dude is a meniscus
Flagg will get better because of his motor and will to be the best player on the court. Also whenever he gets better players around him to space the floor, he will have more space to make easier shots.
One of the main reasons I’ve been super sure Cooper was going to be an elite player for a couple years now is things I’ve heard coaches or analysts say about his ability to process what he learns and sees exceptionally fast to go with extreme competitiveness and work ethic.
It just seems like traits I don’t hear of average players having , so while a lot of doubters were looking at his flaws in highschool and college thinking his ceiling was limited because he doesn’t quite have LeBron , Zion or Giannis jump off the screen athleticism to mask some skill flaws I’ve always assumed Flagg is going to figure everything out that he’s not good at yet .
Not that Cooper is severely lacking in physical talent , he’s 6’9 , athletic and built big but I always believe how an athlete is wired mentally is more important and Cooper just seems to have basketball savant wiring.

When people were saying his ceiling was a really good role player before the season I always felt like that would be his FLOOR.
His ceiling is anywhere from a perennial all star to being in MVP contention.
He has 5 years at least before he’s even in his prime which is insane to consider.
