No reason Carmelo and CP3 should've been Xed out the league. If Tom Brady in the back years of his prime can push his respective sport forward as one of the frontiers in a more physical sport, no reason they couldn't adjust in a progressive NBA. Carmelo could've easily been on a 2023 Denver nuggets/2020 Lakers. And CP3 could be on all 30 teams today with an established role where he doesn't deminish anyone's else. 1st ballad hall of famers but cant compete in the twilight of their career? Make it make sense
