  1. So basically the Kings traded two healthy guys that can play for a guy who cannot?
I know the tank job is on but c'mon. Hunter wasn't going to make a difference.
Not only that, it's not a chance to play Hunter big minutes and build up his trade value for the offseason.
Why not free the vets like DeMar and Russ so they can go play some meaningful basketball somewhere else?

  2. Keegan will be the next to re-injure and go out for the remainder of the season. He's already hinted about not being completely healed.

  3. They're shutting guys(vets) down so they don't compound injuries.

This means Sabonis, Lavine, and Hunter will certainly be on the roster to start the 26/27 season.

They won't be able to trade them this offseason because teams will want to see them playing again before adding them to their rosters.

It looks like Gm Scott Perry is planning on starting the season with mostly vets starting and mixing in youngsters(unless the lottery pick comes into training camp and forces his way into the starting lineup)

They'll probably do the same as this season, let Christie try to win games using mostly veterans and go to more youngsters if the season goes awry again.

I don't think they will care that much about draft position next draft because it's not considered a strong draft and they will already have lots of young players.

Going into next season they will have: Cardwell, Raynaud, Murray, Clifford, Carter, Plowden, and the lottery pick…..

That's seven and i believe Hunter might be under 28 so you can consider him a young player as well, so eight.

I'm not sure how old or young Aichuwa is but i am expecting them to try to bring him back.

So if he is also under 28, that would be nine players under 28….that's pretty solid.

27/28 i think they will go after a young unrestricted free agent.
