The second the Knicks pulled the trigger on the KAT trade, two years ago, I’ve been kicking and screaming out loud to anyone who would listen, that the Knicks were no longer a legitimate championship contender. KAT has some talent, but he’s a bad fit on this team. Everyone in the NY sports media knows it, but they don’t have the sack to say it. Losses of Randle,Divo, Hartenstein and Precious took away all our toughness and our defense went from 3rd overall the season before the trade, to middle of the road to at times, horrible. You see, it’s not about having the best players, it’s about having players that fit your team best. That Brunson, Randle team should have been allowed to run it back one more time, with all of them healthy. I like the additions of Alvarado and Sochan cuz they both have a pair, but this team needs a fundamental change to the starting unit. Go get the Freak this summer. It has to be done.
Pistons LAST YEAR did this. It wasn't this bad, and this feels different this time around
