Kam Jones is obviously not efficient right now being a rookie still learning how to play at the NBA level, but he has shown a lot of potential for generating tons of assists (11 in this game, although 6 TOs is obviously way too much but that will decrease over time). Long term he could be incredibly valuable in the second unit, which is pretty important now that Mathurin is gone. I'm also intrigued by that recent game winner a few games back. If he becomes a dependable option with high pressure shots, that's also huge from a backup player. He'll struggle this season as a rookie, which is fine given we want a high draft pick, but this is also valuable experience he needs to get better for next year.
