POR picks "1-14 Own;15-30 to CHI." Still only beating tanking teams, GSW own their pick no matter what, let's see how we deal with the other team trying to win. (They have Butler out so I see it as 50-50)
Well we know the Nuggets almost never get blown out,& definitely can't win close games-unless Jokic,& like 7 other dudes are out. That's definitely the recipe cuz even this team can't blow 50 point lead in the clutch-lol. It's great & they just needed a win but I don't care if they win by 100. And I'm not saying try to make it close or something-lol. You want to blow teams out-ya definitely take em as you can get them,& winning East is preferable to sweating it out.
But it doesn't prove much especially vs that team-thats all. Until they start performing in the clutch when it matters-mostly Jokic,& Murray,& winning some close games-i can't take them that serious. But with toughest schedule in the NBA left-theyll likely have plenty of chances to prove to us they aren't destined to be the least clutch good team in the NBA-ALL SEASON -but we shall see. But did what ya had to & then a whole bunch more for tonight at least.
Avdija was even worse than Murray in the All star game, that dude, felt like when Bronny comes in for the Lakers…I hate that guy
People seem to forget how many injuries have occured and how few games the Nuggs have actually had the entire team playing together… no chance to gel, settle into roles, rotations, chemistry…. Its like all the keyboard trolls never actually played high level BBall….!!
And yet, Nuggs have treaded water, stayed in the top of the West, and STILL missing 2 of the top 6 players…. Yes, they have a tough road ahead, and a long ways to go.,., but wtf! Give me a healthy Nuggets Roster, my money is on The Nuggets!

Hansen reminded Jokic who he was and he went out and played his best to show it.
Jokic being aggressive is non optional. He is the leader and he sets the standard and if hes lazy the team suffers. You can tell when hes putting in work he leads by example and they fallow his lead. For me the big story line is with Straw looking this good does this mean Denver has a legitimate 11 man playoff roster?
I could imagine Kj Simpson as more of an Ish Smith type of role on this team. Obviously super small sample, but I like the idea of a speedy facilitator.

Yeah Booth was good at drafting but the signings he would make and also trading away so many picks all the time was far from ideal. Maybe he was just following what ownership wanted but he could’ve done better
Really need the big three all healthy to make some noise in the playoffs. Peyton, big Val Cam &THJ need to be involved in most games as well. Thundar, Spurs and Wolves are all tough customers if healthy.
