DOMINATE: Jalen Duren Returns and DOMINATES Chicago Bulls in Detroit Pistons Win

Jalen Duren powers the Detroit Pistons past the Chicago Bulls with a dominant 26-point, 13-rebound performance, showcasing improved footwork and balance that few big men can match. Ku Khahil explores how JB Bickerstaff’s tactical tweaks unlocked new dimensions in the Pistons’ offense, notably by utilizing Ausar Thompson as a dynamic playmaker and re-energizing the half-court attack. Can Detroit’s newfound versatility spark a late-season surge?

Ku Khahil tackles Cade Cunningham’s rapidly growing MVP buzz: Does leading the NBA’s top team make his case strong enough to dethrone stars like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokic? The episode also examines whether the recent Jaden Ivey-for-Kevin Huerter trade has already paid off—or backfired—while spotlighting the crucial role of draft pick swaps in the Pistons’ long-term championship ambitions. Don’t miss deep insights into lineup decisions, player growth, and Detroit’s evolving pursuit of NBA glory.

  1. Ive never really understood how a NBA player can be a bad shooter. They have the best in the business to train them. I can understand how I highly defended shots but missing wide open shots or free throws. Im probably missing something. IDK.

  2. Thompson starting to look a little like magic Johnson and Ron Holland never hit the jump shot we going to be strong.. Thompson is looking strong for a change instead of falling so much I believe he's ready to break out

  3. Tbh i generally concern about the non-Cade minutes because in the 2nd quarter Jenkins and Levert were struggling get paint touches against the Bulls bench unit

  4. How is he not the mvp he’s the best player on a team no one thought would be this good how much he does he’s arguably the best pg in the league he has no superstar running mate a very good player but no star just really good role players he’s the mvp no doubt about it it’s not bias

  5. Why is SGA more valuable? Yes he is having a great offensive season but he also has the better team around him. He has a true number 2 and 3 teammates. So I just disagree.

  6. You can’t win Ku, now Pistons fans will say you’re a hater for having Cade third in mvp lol I agree with you though

  7. Ku I believe that the NBA should determine the league MVP by WAR like MLB does. Cade would most definitely win the MVP. WAR stands for Wins Above Replacement, an advanced baseball statistic (sabermetric) that estimates a player's total contribution to their team in one single number.

  8. They're letting Ausar slice the defense first to keeps the other team from doubling Cade on his first move. God, if Ausar can unlock corner threes, it open ups everything. Teams might start hack-a-Asuar if he doesn't start showing more offense scoring. Regardless, I'd lock him up for 5 years. His ceiling is still incredibly high and floor is still starting caliber in my opinion.

  9. I doubt the 21st pick will be that valuable. It's so rare to find impact players late in the draft. Even the best organizations hardly ever do it.

  10. My take on Ivey at this point is that the Pistons sadly knew that he''s just never going to get his #1 skill (speed) back due to injuries. And here he is injured again for a few weeks. I wish him well but he's already more money to be quite comfortable. He's basically the a poster child for why 1 and done is a good rule. Imagine if he got injured in his junior year of college.

  11. Brunson, SGA and Luka to a lesser degree all play b*tch ball also known as foul baiting. I've never seen a super star elevate his surroundings cast as well as Cade does. Cade going to amazing on the USA team.

  12. Having Ivey as a back up just for this season would have been nice because Huerter has looked great so far. A young shooting capable PF would nice to grab this years draft. Iveys born again interview did give me a little cause for pause. Guy seems shell shocked to me. Hope he finds his game again. Regrettably pistons oraiginatin didn't do him any favors.

  13. Ivey was CHEEKS & more concerned with being "A man of Gawd" than a professional BBall player.

Respect for his convictions, but he wasn't IT!

  14. How is it biased to say that Cade deserves the MVP sometimes you have to take it when you can get it Detroit has never had an MVP as great as Zeke was
Cade is the most impactful player to his team and as far as hate is concerned he's always going to get that anyway just because he plays for Detroit you should listen to player's choice sometimes some of those guys sound foolish when talking about Cade
