Breaking Bad wasn't even the best amc show IMO because so many of the characters were easy to hate with how selfish most of them are. I preferred The Killing (2011). It's a cop drama but an actual realistic one, it takes several seasons to solve one case of a murdered girl. It follows the two main detectives trying to solve it, the girl's family, friends and suspects.
