WOLVES POSTCAST: T-Wolves NO SHOW as Maxey, Sixers DOMINATE | INSTANT REACTION

WOLVES POSTCAST: T-Wolves NO SHOW as Maxey, Sixers DOMINATE | INSTANT REACTION

Philadelphia 76ers guards Tyrese Maxey and No. 3 overall pick V.J. Edgecombe combined for 64 points to end a four-game losing skid and take down Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves 135-108.

Minnesota played without Rudy Gobert — who earned a one-game suspension after picking up a Flagrant 1 on Friday night — and Naz Reid, who on his poster dunk over Daniel Gafford re-aggravated a right shoulder injury suffered back in January.

Philadelphia got it done without Joel Embiid (knee/shin) and Paul George (PEDs suspension).

  1. Sadly, we are looking at a 2nd round exit team right now.
Yeah, Gobert and Naz missing hurt alot, but Gobert will most likely miss at least one playoff game with the same issues.
The problem is fight and effort. And I do not see Randle as a guy you can rely on as a #2 on a title team game in and game out. Without Gobert, their defense is truly awful. Without a constant 2nd bench scorer, their bench is awful.

  2. Fire Finch! Fire the tree jerseys and fire the Prince jerseys. The team needs a reset.

  3. This team peaked two years ago and has been getting worse ever since. Sometimes they don't even look like a playoff team.

  4. The 29 other teams are not scared of the Wolves. The Wolves fans are though…

  5. I thought we got Ayo and it was off to the title?? This team is a joke. Another loss to a depleted team on the second of that teams back to back – Ant is a joke. He is not even better than Maxey – how is he?? How is he?? Yuk team

  6. This team, as currently constructed and coached, is not winning anything. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Julius Randle is a cancer to any team he joins. The good play every once in a while (absolutely no consistency as a 2nd option) is not worth the lack of effort, mood and demeanor that he brings. He gets away with awful effort because Finch refuses to hold him accountable, the other players have seen this and they think to themselves, "why should I try? Why should I put in effort if Randle doesn't have to? He constantly costs us points and possessions, and never gets held accountable. In fact, Finch makes up excuses for his awful defense and inconsistent offense!!"

This team will win nothing with Randle on it and Finch coaching it. Finch has reached his peak, he needs to go
