What went wrong for the Cleveland Cavaliers against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday?
The Cleveland Cavaliers are no longer undefeated with James Harden in the lineup.
The Cavs saw their seven-game winning streak snapped Sunday by the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder, falling 121–113 in a game that felt like a playoff preview. Cleveland dug itself into a 23-point hole in the first quarter — and while they showed serious fight by clawing back to take their first lead early in the third, the damage was already done. Turnovers and shot selection told the story.
The Cavs committed 17 turnovers that turned into 31 OKC points. That’s a backbreaker against a team of that caliber. From beyond the arc, Cleveland shot 13-of-39, while OKC went 21-of-41. You simply can’t lose the math battle like that and expect to walk out with a win. Donovan Mitchell went 0-for-6 from three and still finished tied for the team high with 20 points alongside Harden and Sam Merrill. Harden added nine assists but also had five turnovers and finished with a -13 plus/minus. Cleveland is now 5-1 with “The Beard.”

Unfortunately I think we've seen the ceiling on Mobley, and I don't think he'll ever be the 2-way powerhouse that we hoped he could be. He's definitely overpaid for what he contributes so hopefully that doesn't hamstring the team going forward.

Jay is so negative and doesn't know ball. He knows criticism. Nothing in pro sports is an easy road no matter how well a team is playing.
This program is all about stating obvious just negative nonsense for all the sports teams. The only time it's watchable is when you have good guests that are actually smart on, please do more of that and less of Adam the hut! I feel like theyd have won that game if SGA or Jdub were there, they actually drive to the basket and take mid range shots xd. We can not defend the perimeter, didnt understand the zone defense and yeah Mobley looked useless today, just made Allen worse and didnt make up for it.

So the reality is, we have great players, but we have a roster full of players who can’t perform in the biggest moments. Unfortunately, that includes Mitchell lately. Every time it’s a quality opponent he has a horrible offensive output.

Wish you could see comment history on YT. I said this 4 years ago when we traded for Mitchell. We’ll be old Raptors, great regular seasons, typically top 4 in east but never make it to the finals.

Jarrett Allen is so busy being nice during the rebounding process. He’s out of position. He’s always waiting for someone else to get position.
Horrible start but honestly most teams would have been behind by 15-20 all night but the Cavs showed fight and did a commendable job clawing back within 2-3 points. It was possible to win. OKC is the best team and defending champs for a reason.
