Bucks optimism fades as Raptors roll in Milwaukee

The Milwaukee Bucks took care of business against some bad and shorthanded teams recently but couldn’t keep that streak alive against a Toronto Raptors squad without franchise player Scottie Barnes, losing handily at home with most of the roster unable to operate vs Toronto’s ball pressure. Kevin Porter Jr. was the one exception, but KPJ couldn’t lift the Bucks offense by himself.

Ti Windisch and Rohan Katti discussed the dispiriting loss and how it sets them up to dread how Milwaukee may look in a tough week of games against the Heat, Cavaliers, and Knicks this week. They also debate when Giannis Antetokounmpo will return.

To close the episode, Ti and Rohan discuss Wayne Embry and all that he accomplished as a player, basketball decision maker, and business executive as Black History Month comes to a close. Embry is a true trail blazer and a Bucks icon who certainly deserves all of the honors he has received and then some, and someone who every Bucks fan should know about.

  1. You can't start Cam Thomas, as he's on a minutes restriction.

Green isn't currently hitting water if he fell out of a boat. If he's not scoring, he's not bringing a whole lot of value.

  2. Green to the bench he can get his shot off against bench players he’s not good enough to start. Kuzma DNP. Starter Rollins, KPJ, turner, Giannis, dieng bench Thomas, green, nance, sims. Bobby, Kuzma, Trent if somebody hurt

  3. Rollins is a ballhog, he took 17 shots made 6 of them and had 1 assist – he is not cam thomas….

  4. Hello guys from Greece, the three guard lineup simply doesn't work ajgreen cant guard bigger wings, doesn't rebound and his shooting is on and off…also Rollins really seems like he plays for his numbers and i think he was the guy Giannis was taking about being selfish.
The perfect lineup once Giannis is back for me would be:
    Kpj,green,djeng, Giannis,Turner
Rollins,Cam,kuzma, portis, sims with nance playing both as a 3 and 4 splitting the minutes with kuz and bobby who should be playing max 15-20 minutes.
Do you guys think we make it to the playoffs after all?

  5. Exaggerated- only one bad quarter last nite.

Doc did miscoach the game, however. Not sure wt he is thinking but he is clearly a stubborn man bc these lineup rotations, position-roles and mins per were not managed properly.

This obsession with AJ Green is hitting us- why is he still playing more mins than Cam when he's off and only scores 3 pts in 26 mins?! Maybe the problem wasn't just Trent bc on more days than not, this is wt AJ is giving us.: he needs Giannis to really be effective.

No judgement till Giannis comes bk and plays some games with these guys and then we can reasses where we at.

  6. At the moment the best player on the team is Kevin Porter. Rollins should not be in the starting five. Thomas should start in his place. He should also play a lot more.
