    I mean at this point it would be smarter for us to get off the books of Dwight Powell like he’s not gonna make much if he’s gonna remain on the team but at the same time if you extend Dwight Powell, you’re probably gonna give him somewhere in in the vet minimum or near what he’s making at 6 million a year. I’d much rather give a contract to Bagley at that number or or above a little bit and keep Gafford Gafford would likely be more effective next season than he has been this year, riddled with injuries I think that having the options of lively Bagley and Gafford is incredible I think from there we have to think what kind of four we’d be playing we wanna stretch four if we’re gonna play Bagley, Gafford, or lively at the five. I’m not saying not to take calls for a trade for Gafford at this point I think that if it makes sense we go with the trade I think you know the rumors of Reeves for Gafford were out of proportion. I don’t think that we were ever really going to get Austin Reaves for for just Daniel Gafford but if the Lakers are looking to move on with Austin Reaves, I think Dallas should be jumping at that tomorrow. I mean, I know I understand the trade deadline has already passed, but Austin Reaves is what we need moving forward we need a ball handling scoring guard so I think bite the bullet on that and sign Marvin Bagley to an extension.

    Knowing the Dallas Mavericks playing Gafford, he’s not playing incredible minutes he’s playing you know his standard minutes may be a little bit reduced, but he he is dealing with that ankle injury and you can tell he doesn’t have the explosiveness. He’s running much slower. He’s not as active on defense, he’s a really a foot slow laterally on defense. He’s getting beat by everyone on the perimeter and I’m not expecting him to be a perimeter defender but at least something you know and you could tell her that he is playing through injury this season, so give him the benefit of the doubt. Gafford was really really good last year in the season before for us so I think you given the benefit of the doubt have him recover just like everyone else was given a chance to recover besides Anthony Davis and running back Daniel Gafford‘s gonna be you know a good trade piece for a lot of teams and I just don’t think that our market is really hot for him right now anyway at the number that he’s making so let’s try to get his worth up to par and let’s try to play him. Let’s try to get him back to being that you know dominant small big five.

    A lot depends on the decision of what to do with Lively. I think they’ll probably keep him, but to me that’s a mistake. He’s way too unreliable health wise. But definitely Gaff needs to go, he no longer fits in the team. Keep Bag as a backup big.

    I don't feel like it's an ankle issue. He's just been playing like straight trash, and Moussa Cisse has outplayed him this year. I would rather have a Lively, Bagley, Cisse front court next year. But to be safe, I would draft one more big in this years draft because of Lively history, I would go after Chinyela from Florida.

    Like that guy said, I'd like Bagley to stay, but only if they pay him 5 or 7 million. I remember how we let Kai Jones go; he didn't play much in Dallas, but he did very well, and he would have been even cheaper…
