The Denver Nuggets are going through a rough patch with a bad loss to the Golden State Warriors without Steph Curry as they continue to fall apart in the clutch. Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray are both having amazing years and they feel like they should be NBA title contenders, but right now the Nuggets are not playing good enough basketball and with injuries involved, they might be falling out of contenion.

We all know they're the best team in the league when fully healthy, and Regular season dont even matter, Look at the Lakers back in 2023 they went to the WCF after starting 2-10, once Gordon and Watson comesback, they will be unstoppable
Nah, the only thing the nuggets need to do is to stay healthy come playoffs.. in a 7 game series this wont be an issue for them as long as they are healthy

Let's be honest. The team literally plays better without Jokic. Check the stats. When Jokic was out, the team was rolling. Since Jokic came back all they do is lose. Jokic hogs the ball to gets his triple double while the team loses
No, Jokic is a massive problem. He's overrated, stat padder and a massive defensive liability to his team. Remember they were the 2nd seed and playing over .500 basketball without Jokic's weak ass on the court. Since his return the Nuggets have been 4-8 since his weak ass return. Jokic handcuffs his teammates out on the court with his horrible style of basketball and is a turnover machine when he has Jamal Murray out on the court smh lol

Jokic is the best player in the NBA, but he's gotta stop with the turnovers and also atleast try on defense. i don't care about the advanced stats of "jokic is an average defender" when the eye test tells me he's clearly not, and this will be exploited more come playoff time when wemby fries his ass. The nuggets dont have an elite shot blocker and while their bench is very very good those guys are quite inconsistent. We saw that last year in the OKC series where Julian Strawther randomly dropped 15 points and then played like ass in the next game.
nuggets need some wing depth and a young scoring punch, jovic and herro for jokic sounds like a very fair trade to me
As a nuggets fan, Cam Johnson has been by far the most underwhelming part of our season. Disgustingly overrated and always has been.

It’s just like every other sport. Performance in close games goes up and down year to year. Last year may have been stellar, while the following year teams may struggle with largely the same personnel. The Nuggets are still contenders. This just may not be their year.

Most every top team is biding their energy for the playoffs. The writing is on the wall this season, and its a two pronged league: The Resters, and The Tankers. San Antonio and Boston the only contending teams showing out right now.
Dejounte Murray is coming back on Tuesday vs the Warriors
They are missing Aaron Gordon who’s a very important part of the teams offense and margin maxxing. It’s not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things unless he doesn’t come back looking himself. Not having Watson also hurts because he’s their backup PF. Nothing that position forces them to play with small margins of error.
Jokic getting real close to a quadruple double with turnovers the last 5 games. Can't be lackluster on defense and giving up the ball 6-8 times .I don't care how many points and assists you put up if you are giving it back with turnovers and bad defense.
