Wemby is the perfect superstar for the spurs organization. He has the competitive drive without having an ego. He could win both mvp and dpoy this year depending on how many games shai ends up playing. Then you got two way players all around him and it's a recipe for success.

The Spurs are definitely a contender. I think they are probably less likely to win the title than the Thunder, Nuggets, or Wolves, but the Spurs have to be taken seriously.

You're right. Wemby was looking to go to the line too much. Late in the third quarter, he was 2-11 and finished 6-16. In the late third and fourth quarter, when it mattered, he was 4-5.
It’s my favorite win for us this season.Just because of the win streak we had coming in along with their record and us being on the road.If we were to loose this game, some would say we weren’t supposed to win.But no, we locked in defensively and got it done in the 4th.Go Spurs Go!!!

Even as a spurs fan, I have to admit I,d be shocked if we beat thunder in a playoff setting. But at this point why not? We’ve already demonstrated we’re way better than people thought.
