🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️ I get so irritated when I hear ppl talk about KEEPING SABONIS!!! Scott should definitely trade my young homie so we can not only get younger/better but also so Keegan can go b great with a franchise that’s already in their winning stage 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️ DONT force him to stay down for the cause when we can speed up our process AND allow him to spread his wings and fly 💪🏾
How does Keegan only make 2 shots against the sorry ass Grizzlies? Wow man
If the Kings are gonna be bad until closer to the end of Keegans extension, trade him and get below the cap and gain assets.
Trading keegan is foolish. Not one good argument have I heard. Fiating the kings future is useless. Just trade the old guard and move forward. Listening to jesse say were bad for 4 years is so based on nothing.
Every year I listen to this 'nuts and bolts' strategy talk, and every year the Kings are more of an embarrassment to Sacramento than ever. Clearly the culture needs to be burned to the ground, and something entirely new put in its place. Or let them go. Having a team this damn bad representing our city is worse than nothing.
The player you trade for a first is Sabonis… because you have young bigs to lean on in his absence…
We don’t have an abundance of wings or versatile players… Murray is more valuable than that… and if the top end of this draft is so good then 4 years is a bad estimate for when the Kings can compete again.
What if your 10 pick ends up being any of the following…
Thomas Robinson, Marvin Bagley, Justin Jackson, Frank Mason, Harry Giles, Jimmer Fredette, Ben McLemore, Willy Cayley Steing… or shit even Devin Carter… if he is we are even further behind.
Our offense is horrible and always comes down to an old vet going 1v1 putting all of our other players on the other side of the floor clogged and congested. When we had a good offensive coach Keegan looked good, we don’t have that anymore. But we also lack height and good defenders and he’s prolly the only guy on our team that can guard 1-5. He might be our best defender, among our better rebounders, good assist to turnover ratio and on a team that lacks size and defense he does both. Getting rid of him when 6”8 defenders that flexible are crazy rare sounds dumb cause you won’t get anything better in return most likely in term of defensive flexibility. Get rid of the whole coaching staff, and let the vet contracts expire and get some good passers and screeners and see how the offense is.
I hate to say it…… but I agree I would definitely consider trading Keegan. Team won’t be competitive for awhile
You're not getting the 10th pick for Keegan, late teens or 20s imo. If you can get a ok young player and pick for Keegan I think you pull the trigger… not sure Keegans defense and shooting sub 30 from 3 is worth 30m a year
Same guys that’ll be trashing the Kings FO when Keegan becomes a starter on an established playoff team and the player they draft is worse than keegan
