I haven't watched Wemby before. I was shocked at the opening tip when Wemby made Duran look like a shooting forward. With so much of the Pisttons' offense happening near the rim, my immediate thought was "Man, are we ever in big trouble" Then Wemby takes a 3 and makes it. Then everybody on the Spurs jacks up threes and makes them all. The Pistons played OK, but Wemby definitely affected their inside game. The question in my mind is how the Spurs would fare on an average 3 pt. night. There is a good chance they make so many threes becasue defenses suck down towards the paint to stop Wemby from going wlld.
I hope to see the Suprs again in the finals. That would be a great series for he fans nationwide to watch, especially if the Pistons adjust to guard the arc better and rotae Duran Beef Stew, and Reed to hack Wemby any time he gets his hands on the ball near the basket.

I've been saying the spurs are a terrible matchup for Detroit. I'd rather play OKC over the Spurs because the best way to beat the spurs defense is with good perimeter shooting, which we don't have. Wemby makes it hard to score points in the paint which is typically how the Pistons win their games, and with the spurs having a crazy 3-point shooting night I wasn't surprised they won.
