The Spurs think they’re right on time. Wemby and me are something you have to worry about
Wemby doesn’t need stats to be effective. Not a lot of players in the NBA can say that. Sure some players can really shine on the offensive side of the ball, but facilitating will still up your stats. Wemby could be goose eggs across the board and he will still have had a huge impact on both sides of the court with his size alone. If he can fill out a bit, not like Giannis but like KG, we would see this special player become a legend while playing. He’s like 21-22 yrs old.. that’s just insane to think about. If he stays healthy and doesn’t become the GOAT, he would be consider a “what if”. That’s how high his ceiling is, if he’s not considered the GOAT, he under performed when considering what he could have been.
Crazy talent, competitiveness and size combo that doesn’t really happen in the wild. An anomaly for sure.
