In this episode, I explain how the Golden State Warriors ended up losing to Zion Williamson and the Pelicans. Despite a capable night from Draymond Green, Warriors sorely missed the presence of Al Horford, and their poor showing in the first quarter ended up being too much to overcome down the stretch, despite a big scoring game from De’Anthony Melton, and Moses Moody while Gui Santos continued to mostly thrive in his elevated role.

Look like you’re improving, I thought you will blame this game on Draymond like everyone else when in this game he was doing amazing. You can blame his offense but you got to admit when he is on the floor, his playmaking and pick and roll is incredible. Although I don’t see you criticizing Post, Gui and Pat for this game…. Post and Gui was horrible on defense and couldn’t guard anyone. As for Pat, well you can see it in the game.
6:00 I thought you told me last week that the 4th quarter is the most important quarter but you just said we lost because how we played in the 1st quarter I’m keeping receipts sooo now we can lose in the first quarter but the 4 quarter is the most important just make it make sense to me

The team's goal is to barely make the play-ins just to avoid criticism. They’re not tanking, and they’re not becoming contenders either. They just want to avoid being blamed for wasting the Curry era while they still have him.

Opponents don't even guard Draymond unless Draymond is within a couple feet of the basket. His defender just sits in the paint. Did anyone watch as Deandre Jordan just sitting in the paint? Draymond is at the free throw line and is just waiting for cutters. They are daring Draymond to shoot, because all he does is put up bricks. And even if he drives in, he is a TERRIBLE at finishing at the rim. He can't make a contested layup. He tries to do things he CANNOT do. That kills the offense because cutting to the basket is just cutting into a double team while Draymond just sits outside…doing nothing. Plus, Draymond is no longer the same defensive player he was a few years ago, and playing him at center is a liability. The starting five of Draymond, Gui, Moses, Melton and Spencer is not good. They are not big enough and their defense suffers. That is where AL not playing hurts the Dubs. AL and Gui, or Post and Gui, or Al and Post are a better fit. Kerr should NOT play Spencer and Podz (and GP2) at the same time. It hurts their defense. Spencer looked terrible, too. What has happened to him? Kerr is really hurting QP's confidence by the way Kerr plays him and if he makes one mistake, he gets pulled. You can see a difference in Post's confidence the way Kerr is playing him now.

I watched as long as I could , it’s just a shame .. They have these moments of pure hustle and determination and then poof ….. I’m running on empty with them , not giving up yet , but it’s getting more difficult..

Winnable game if they didn’t commit so many turnovers that have nothing to do with the Pelicans. Pat Spencer looked so lost and not like the old Pat when he used to be a 2-way contract player. Quinten Post needs to practice shooting 3s more. Gui Santos is so vital to the dubs future going forward.
