With a deadline to purse a buyout looming over the weekend, Khris Middleton has a decision to make on whether he wants to end the season with the Dallas Mavericks, or take a buyout and go play on a contender. DLLS’ Marc Stein provides an update on what Middleton is thinking after discussing it in person with the man himself. Multiple playoff teams have shown interest in the veteran wing, including the Denver Nuggets. Will the former Buck’s All-Star stick with the Mavs or pursue further playoff success elsewhere?

I would like Middleton as an off the bench scorer next season, but right now he's sinking the tank haha. It doesn't look like a pressing need to sign any of the two way contract players, just roll into the off-season because they may not stick around due to the decent rookie class coming out.

Middleton is one of my favorite players in the league. He is a solid, good player. Problem is that a lot of teams will probably want him.
Having veterans and champions on the roster is a big plus. Kai, klay, and kris. Lots of leadership there
