The thing is they don't play better when Giannis plays because it feels like everyone waits for Giannis to do it all himself. My prediction is Giannis does come back, and when the playoffs start, he gets hurt… again.
I love that you are making more SL breakdown videos. And I still find it hard to believe how many people open youtube, barely watch half the video and then comment that you are biased and don't know anything. Like why even take the time? Make your own content peons and see if you do even 20% as engaging.
How is this a surprise at all? This is literally what Doc Rivers does, the riffraff overperforms, but he has 0 ideas how to use his stars. Think back of Doc's coaching career and his best two seasons are taking Orlando with no star player to the playoffs and the clippers with no stars to the playoffs. Then you put stars in his roster and his teams fail in hilarious fashion.
Seeing comments about how this team will be what the bucks will ultimately become when giannis is traded, how fun this team is and bringing up the "ewing effect" is the type of, it would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic… what the heck? I'll laugh anyway, sort of content, I've come to expect from random videos that pop up on my yt algorithms. Nevermind that these wins have come from other teams that are either tanking or are also fighting for the play in, or teams that sat majority of their starting unit, OR that they've gotten smacked by good teams. And there is no (and I repeat NO player in this draft that is going to A. Magically, become available to the bucks ( top 3 ) or B. Will be an instant add water mix and there back in the playoffs. The delusion that a team of journeymen, two 3rd option players (at best) on good teams, and 2 players that have shown potential THIS year on a bad team but were just trade fillers on good teams, and a coach that most want the team to get rid of (but most likely will not only fulfill his contract, but get an extension. Good luck with that 😉) Not to mention that the front office has a penchant of swinging and missing (badly) on drafts and free agent signings, a city that's a terrible free agent destination and throughout their history has had three relevant eras. Kareem years, Ray allen, sam cassell and Glen Robinson Big 3, and giannis (unless you want to add brandon Jennings rookie season). But yes, trade away a perennial mvp candidate, one of the most popular players on the planet, and as for the economy of the city, i doubt there are many other factors that loom as large as giannis when it comes to the money side of things. But hey, what do i know, im just a guy that comments. GO MILWAUKEE. GO BUCKS…. Oh, before i forget… HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
