  1. Why is everyone it seems overlooking Moussa and the second chance points he gives with almost constantly giving you 10 rebounds… I think he is is averaging 9 something rebounds and that is big. Every team needs an energy guy. Do the Bulls of the 90s when 6 without Rodman?

  2. This guy looks like he would lead with Kneuppel being the reason the Hornets have improved this season. Melo is still the guy that makes the team move, but the team is talented enough for people to have different favorites players on the roster.

  3. I'm a Hornets fan. It is SO FRUSTRATING hearing people talk about Ball. "His stats are low because he's bought in." No. Just … no. That's the take from people who don't actually follow the Hornets.

Ball was only a shoot-first PG in the past because his supporting cast was horrible. Yes, Ball has been injured a lot, but so has the rest of the team. At one point he was starting with 2 bench players and 2 G-League call-ups. Who do you expect him to pass to in that scenario? Heck yes he was shooting a lot. He had to. But we saw how he played when the team was approaching healthy.

What you see from Ball right now? That's who he truly is as a player. On par with Jokic as an offensive engine. (A few days ago Ball was tied #1 with Jokic for offensive impact. I haven't checked in the last few days so Ball may still be #1.)

It's amazing being this deep into the season and still having hope for anything other than the lottery. I actually have expectations for this team, something I don't think I've had since the 90s. It's been so damn long.

  4. Hornets are THE hottest, and they have the highest Eff rating of the entire league.. You can tell A LOT of you guys aren't Hornets viewers but people just "Hopping on the wave".. The teams NOT in their position cause of Kon, it's Melo as the engine (Team goes from a 135 PLUS Eff rating down to 114 without him), B. Mill as the scorer (leads our team in PPG), and Kon as the 3rd who consistently stretches the floor.. Also Miles Bridges averages 20, and Coby around the same area.. This isn't about any single player HOWEVER the "most vital" player is and will ALWAYS be Melo for team.. The never had to get Melo to buy into ANYTHING they just gained the assets to properly build AROUND Melo..

  5. And after watching The Hustle last season and Charles Lee's infectious family atmosphere for these guys. They die for one another out there. Everybody gives it they're all each game. It's not perfect and they're still coming together in some ways. Coby White makes a huge difference Off the Bench. And if he's plopped in that starting five anywhere except the five that adds another wrinkle, also 6th man.

FanDuel head 14, 000 to one odds they win the southeast division. Back in the summer I took a leap and now it's a true possibility. $14,000 payout on $100 investment. I don't Gamble offense but this is getting interesting πŸ˜‚πŸŽ‰

  6. Michael Jordan finalized the sale of his majority stake in the Charlotte Hornets to a group led by Gabe Plotkin and Rick Schnall on August 3, 2023. πŸ™„ πŸ€¦β€β™‚

  7. Nobody saw it coming ? I call bs, as a hornets lifer I’ve been very hopefully the last few years, but injuries have plagued us. Health is why they’re winning. Kon was a great addition, but the overall health of the team is the biggest contributor to this success

  8. The media doesn't know how to cover the Hornets and rightfully so. We have been such an embarrassment and we all know it. Ever since we got competent ownership, look at how we have evolved! Us….the Charlotte Hornets fans are the most deserving of this moment! We HAVE A SQUAD!!! WE HAVE A COACH!! WE HAVE A GREAT OWNERSHIP GROUP! WE HAVE A BADASS GM (should win GM of the year)!!! AND WE HAVE ALL YOUNG PLAYERS!!! GET USED TO IT NBA, YANKEE AND CALI MEDIA!!! CHARLOTTE IS HERE!! AND WE KICKING IN ALL DOORS!!! FINALY HORNETS FANS….OUR DAY IS HERE!!

  9. Hornets are 18-9 with Moussa starting.
They seem to have found some great chemistry with this group.
Kon really helps, not just shooting but spacing for his teammates.
Good to see, this is one of those teams with a winning identity, now!
