Horrible 1st. This is why we’re fake. They need the motivation of being behind to get the motivation to play hard.
There's very good reason why Darko, coaches and bosses shouldn't yell ALL the time…bc it doesn't work. People tune you out VERY quickly if you play that card too often.
"Excited to see what he does against New York"
who's gonna tell him?
raptors 9 games + away and 500 at home… We gotta take care of business at Scotia!
Can’t wait to see this team get dog walked by New York
Wizards did everything in their power to lose that game by pulling their guys in the 4th.
Raptors still have to address how they guard the 3s. Don't dare the opposing teams so much in the first 3 quarters.
Raptors has the chance to win 13 to 15 games to close out the season. The future is bright.
Wizards will be a problem next season. There is a good amount of potential there and I am not talking from the trades.
George's dad went to my higschool in Montréal…Dieon George at Northmount Highschool was a star basketball player , I was hoping raps drafted his son over Jakobe 🤷
Crashing out repeatedly, especially in low-stakes environments, only tunes teams out faster; have seen this in every sport I follow. If this team was expected to make deep playoff runs, I'd absolutely expect and want more crash-outs, given the urgency.
Darko has been smart to pull them out sparingly, it's only up until recently he's stopped giving developmental reps to Gradey in the hopes that he can improve (still only 22!). After the Raps make a consolidation trade and tweak the roster the way Bobby has been alluding, I think you'll see EVERYTHING tighten up, as it comes with those expectations. The Raptors started the year with a ~33 win O/U per Vegas. Patience.
