  1. McCollum revenge night.
    Okongwu 3pt contest.
    Kuminga dunk competition ? …. krikey ! … c'mon Blazers.
They got cool music in Atlanta. That's a positive moment

  2. We are looking worst and worst as time moves along in the season. Hate to say but they looked much better under billups at the start of the season. I felt a clear identity under billups, we are in clear free fall currently.

  3. Clingan got 3 fouls in 1st quarter. Without Timelord tonight, the rebounds and defense took an early hit. By the time the quarter was winding down Portland was down by 20. Atlanta continued making big plays to prevent any surge by Portland. Then… another garbage time beat down … oof

  4. This is the worst that I’ve ever seen the Blazers ever play!

They cannot make any shots at all. Their offense is horrible ,
    scoot Henderson is terrible.
They desperately need a new coach. Tiago has no clue as to what he’s doing.

    They’re offense and defense sucks.
I would look to trade scoot and sign love immediately.

Scoot can’t even hit the rim on any of his shots , unbelievable!!!!

    Cronin needs to be fired.
Along with the coach and this team has zero chemistry whatsoever.

  5. Scoot is being told to play as a shooting guard most of the time, and I do think that's throwing him. And I suspect the coaching staff is getting on him for minor mistakes that they aren't holding the same criteria's for other players.

But one thing I don't see mentioned anywhere is his potential assist rate. In particular today, nearly every person Scoot passed it to who shot, bricked said shot. People are going to hate on Scoot no matter what, but if he had 12 points and 7 assists (his average over 5 games in his potential assist rate is 11, so lets pretend half of those converted on a normal team) are people still going on about how Blake Wesley and Love are better? (Probably, because that's the current narrative).

And then the cold shooting, that will adjust, as it does for all NBA players. Happened in his second year too, started out slow and came on strong December onward.

Ultimately though, I don't think the Blazers are interested in putting Scoot in a position to succeed. Quite the opposite, which is weird because you would think as the GM you would want the players you drafted to excel. But Cronin has made sure to always have a player ahead of Scoot. If the Pistons had drafted Scoot instead 3 years ago, you think he's the same player as he is with the Blazers? Heck no, because the Piston's weren't afraid to let the young guys play and didn't hyper focus on getting vets (or regressing vets). And now the Pistons are the best team in the East.

That freaken sucks too, because I'm sure Cronin will throw away Scoot the second he can and run out two 36 year old guards as the backcourt next season. As good as Dame and Jrue used to be, that's a Clippers style disaster waiting to happen. Or the Kings.

  6. Good job on Eric for calling Torey out for playing favorites. If Shae was playing as bad as Scoot is he'd be torching him. Sharpe is meant to be a primary elite scorer so of course he's going to take tough shots, the entire team is asking him to because he does it in practice. but when it comes to Scoot just needing to handle the ball well and having a good turnover assist ratio , o then well its the system, o hes trying to make the right reads, oh he has a shooting slump, o its not his job to create offense off an iso….. bruh, so what exactly CAN we hold Scoot accountable for right now?
