Ryan's analyses at the end feels spot on. And that's why we are frustrated. It's not about Cam, Val, or any other particular player.
We wanted the title with the best roster Jokic has ever had, but we won't get it, and it doesn't seem like we'll ever have a chance like this again.
This season feels for me worse then the last. I had more hope last year. I KNOW we are not going far, and when we face the top team we are going to get rolled. This is completely unaceptabble with the team we have. We have the best team in the jokic era, and at 37 and 24 pretty much every nuggets fan knows, we have 0 chance to win. Return of AG qnd Payton will maybe help, but the team is banged up disconnected and has no belief, and we see it.

MPJ is the primary reason we are not 3 time defending champs. Absolutely shat his pants and disappeared against OKC and the Timberwolves.
Still amazing that Matt actually thought the Nuggets would win this one. Clearly not as familiar with their game as we thought.
The Nuggets are a .500 basketball team in 2026, and they look like one.
Much like against the OKC, the Nuggets won the first quarter and proceeded to not win any of the other quarters.
At which point does the Nuggets Strength/Conditioning/Medical staff get put on the hot seat? Yet more injuries too, both Spencer and Cam injured.
This is starting to not like the usual NBA wear and tear, or simply bad luck.

I’m a Laker fan, so I don’t really watch the nuggets to much. But Denver has been my pick to win the title since November. I don’t get what’s wrong with this team on paper they have one best rosters in the league. Good 3 and D wings CB, Aron, Watson Cam Johnson. Solid young players in Picket, Strawther, and Watson again. And good veteran bench pieces in THJ, Bruce Brown, Jonas, and not to mention the best player in the world with a all star beaides him. This team is deep and versatile what is the issue genuinely. There still my pick to win the chip, but they got step it up considering how good this roster at least in my opinion. Also I know they have been injured but considering how much options this team has each position it still doesn’t make sense to me.
Matt acting like Mike wouldnt have better impact than Cam when every metric is screaming about it is so funny.
Also acting like Mike did nothing outside of scoring. He had the 4th highest rebound rate in the NBA for a wing last year (behind amen lebron and deni).
Something tells me If mike was more PC on his podcast and cam had Jesus tattoos, I dont think Matt would act this way

What all this adversity this year underscores is Gordon's importance to this team. Why it's not glaringly obvious to most of you Nuggets fans I don't understand. I'm a Lakers fan but I can not stand LeBron so I've been secretly watching and rooting for the nuggets – even against the Lakers – for about 5 years now. What I don't like is how all you nuggets fans are so ready to throw in the towel so early. Y'all acting like you expected to take okc to game 7 last year. As if you thought they were going to win the chip when the playoffs started. Ride or die mfers. And if you ain't riding, then get the fuck off the bus and shut the hell up. The bench gave up the 8 point lead in 2nd quarter.. bad basketball
The game was over in the 2nd quarter when adelman sat down Jamal Murray in the 1st and half way the 2nd and sat down the joker in the 2nd and saw that lead evaporate and never called a timeout to put Jamal back in to run that bench.
Joker deserves better.
