Philippines has no reason to be this crazy to Basketball just to get embarrassed to its own home crowd๐
Australia's system dismantled Gilas' defense. The Aussies probably could have restorted to hero ball because of the wide gap in talent and skills. Their players, if they want to, can easily pick Gilas' individual defense apart, but they stayed disciplined and played within the system.
AUSTRALIA USED 9 CONCEPTS OF OFFENSE IN THE GAME:
1. Transition Offense.
2. 5 out or 4 out motion – Spread Continuity
3. Dribble Handoff
4. Spanish pick n roll
5. Curl Horn Set
6. Set screen pick n pop action
7. Offball Advance Action
8. Split action
9. Zoom offense
Australian Basketball is so AMAZING, Meanwhile Philippine Basketball cannot move on to their old fashioned (outdated) basketball system that only utilizes 2 or 3 players haha

No problem. ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐๐ FIBA rules and FIBA basketball– needs to be Adapted in every single basketball league in the Philippines at every age level–Kung gusto talaga nating umasenso internationally. YUN LANG. Because even NBA players lose on FIBA world cups. Tapos ginagaya pa rin natin. Our basketball system is like how we vote in politics. It's called Insanity. Doing something over and over even if you know it's not working.
Australia was just the better team on both ends of the floor. PH should just play with these high caliber teams all the time.

Even team USA did not adapt a triangle system on an international stage, because it is only applicable for a professional basketball team like Lakers, Bulls, Ginebra cuz they can only get 2-3 star players on their squad. But on an international stage you have the luxury to get 12 star players, then there is no reason to use Triangle.
