Reed Sheppard Was the Answer All Along ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ˜ค #nba #houstonrockets

Reed Sheppard just proved Rockets fans right. After Houston fell behind by 19, Sheppard sparked a 21โ€“0 run and finished with 20 points (5-for-7 from three) in a huge Rockets win. Why Ime Udoka canโ€™t keep Reed on the bench anymore.

  1. You canโ€™t win a basket ball if you canโ€™t put the ball through the hoop. You can have the best defense ever, but if you canโ€™t score a bucket, you ainโ€™t winning.

  2. Ime time in Houston is up after they get bounced in the 1st round.. It will be nobodyโ€™s fault but his .

  3. No way. Reed can just swipe up, instead of down, and get a lot more strips, steals, and cause really difficult shots, and thatโ€™s just on the gather. Thereโ€™s nothing these OKC defenders do, that Reed canโ€™t. Ime, who I think coaches pretty well at the NBA level, just needs to adopt that one thing OKC started. Swiping up instead of down gives referees an immediate hesitation and reason to pull in their short term memory, because itโ€™s an occurrence that is new to the game, not covered in training/professional education (in fact, many refs are taught that if the ball goes in a direction opposite to the direction of the swipe, you blow the whistle), thus currently one of the highest volume fouls not being called. Itโ€™s safer than possessing your right to your line of verticality and jumping straight up when attacked by an incoming shot being attempted. Almost as safe as LeBronโ€™s hand shove on someoneโ€™s center of gravity while theyโ€™re in the air.

  4. Both Rockets and Spurs game Iโ€™ve watched this season Reed was either the winning factor, or what kept them in the game.
