Jonathan Kuminga Sends The NBA A Message

Jonathan Kuminga Sends The NBA A Message

The Atlanta Hawks somehow lucked into the most lopsided trade of the the season with the Warriors. Hawks fans probably love Steve Coach more than Quin Snyder at the moment.

  1. What JK is doing is what Eric paschal thought he was doing. Cuz he complained about the warriors system and how he can do more then he proceeded to do nun

  2. Was it correct to move on from Kuminga? Time will tell one way or another. Right now it doesn’t look like it was for the better. In recent history Kawhi was traded from the Spurs to the Raptors and he helped beat ironically the Warriors. At least he still was a professional about it and gave everything he had until he was traded. Was Kuminga a professional about it up until the end? It can be argued that he wasn’t given the chance. It was never about Kuminga’s abilities. The Warriors drafted him because of his abilities and kept him for as long as they could. It was always about how if he could fit in their system. Part of that is whether or not the player can adjust their game and abilities to a system. You could use the Spurs or even the Jazz as two organizations that stubbornly stuck to their philosophy of system over player. Love it or hate it but it was that stubbornness that allowed them many seasons of staying power. At the peak of Harden’s power the Spurs didn’t even attempt to trade for him because they did’t believe he would fit their system. The Spurs always seem to have the superpower to draft players that fit their system and give them long runs of success. The Warriors need to get back to getting players that fit the system they want to play. Sometimes that best player isn’t the most physically gifted when compared to a player that does what the team needs really well.

  3. If the NBA is stunned it's because they drank the Kool-Aid thinking that Steve Kerr is a good coach and that Dunleavy knows what he's doing. Kuminga rode the bench for years because Kerr didn't want to draft him and wanted to prove that he was right. He and Dunleavy diminished Kuminga's value so they got bupkis in a trade for another older, injury prone player who can't stay on the court. At least he's not another midget guard. LoL. I hope that Kerr doesn't get a new contract and that Kuminga goes on to become an all-star.

  4. Draymond doesn't have Steph and Jimmy? Are you kidding? Draymond Green is a freaking "basketball player" IS HE NOT? Y'all like to talk about what a defensive genius Draymond Green IS, BUT y'all turn right around and say Draymond doesn't have Steph and Jimmy. Y'all CANNOT have it both ways. Either, Draymond Green is an elite player, or he is NOT.

  5. I think the warriors know if they cut Draymond or Kerr, they could lose Steph. No matter how bad they are I don't think Steph walks away unless they're gone.

  6. How are they 15-14 against teams with winning records when he's only played in 3 games?

  7. I had a boss who was an ORPHAN and looked just like Steve Kerr. He was watching me and hearing all my conversation! In an office environment; he’d run out like he was being announced through a PA system! He FAKED cried when he laid me off for a younger female nicer piece of ass to watch take my place’. I know the look of a Traitor, Snake In the grass with Napoleon Complex! Steve Kerr is a Fake Person just like every sports franchise is a MAFIA!

  8. Steve Kerr didn’t want jk to get curry touches away 😂😂 the whole nba teams wants Kerr to keeping being thier coach

  9. Do o think warriors have a shot at a playoff run? No, no I don't.
    😂😂😂

Kerr is a terrorist when it comes to coaching. He is the biggest coaching asterisk. Yeah, 4 rings as a coach. Luke Walton would have had the same with the same team.

This man benched Tatum!! I don't care how tight your rotation is. I don't even like the Celtics. But you can't convince me you just couldn't fit talent into your rotation without saying you aren't a good coach!

And surprise surprise, he still needed Curry to bail him out!

  10. Warriors messed up bad, just wait until he starts playing 30-35 mins a game

  11. The Warriors are trying to tank, they are just going about it in a round about way. The next video for swishculture should be about Steph being kept out. I think this summer the Warriors are gonna make strong push for Kawhi in the offseason, whether it will work or not will solidify the Kuminga trade or not.

  12. I've always said Kuminga was a confidence player, under Kerr it was near impossible to build up any momentum and gain confidence in his play, every time Kerr was forced through injuries to let JK go off, he did so. Now he's being told go out there and get some, and look at that confidence soar.

  13. Kerr needs to be ashamed of himself! I watched Kumminga from day 1 was a fan and saw serious upside! He has Allstar potential!

  14. Dre has lost step, D is no longer consistent to let him play 30 minutes a game and let Kumminga rot is a crime against humanity and he should be tried at the Haig! Most nutty coaching of my lifetime!

  15. Kerr is trash..he forced Podz on us who is mediocre at best….Kerr almost destroyed Kuminga and Santos

  16. Early this season in an interview Kerr said point blank that one of his primary goals as coach was to do everything in his power to ensure he, Steph and Draymond got to retire together. I couldn't believe this wasn't called out more – Talk about selfish destructive chemistry killing agendas. But this shouldn't be a surprise; this organization has shown their "character" with how they handled the KD departure and the "punch". Kerr has been coddling his pet donkey Draymondo for years at the expense of everything else.

  17. Swish, it is hard to argue with you when you are on point, but I will take it a little further. It was obvious that while Kerr was DNPing JK, the Warriors were losing. It was obvious this season when the Warriors big 3 was available that Steve Kerr’s winning percentage remained near or at 500. Why do you think Podz was “given the keys” before the season started? Simply stated, nothing Steve Kerr has done over the last 3 years has been based on production. He has protected the people that he likes, and his “system” to a fault. He has not developed draft choices or talent, yet he played Podz more that the big 3 when available. He played Podz as a shooting guard when his shooting percentage was trash and paired him with other point guards when the results were literally no defense. I can go on and on with Steve Kerr, but this year, he has made us all wonder how much does he differ from the Warriors organization. The JK situation, and this season, are smacks in the face to the owner unless Kerr and Mike D has agreed to stand back to back. The entire NBA see what is happening, but they are confused at why Lacob is allowing these things to happen, and why Steve Kerr has no fear about his judgement and misuse of talent.

  18. Because of Kerr: He killed Warrior players with DNPs playing players out of position, playing small ball the last several years. He messed with Ant Man, Pool, Wigs, JK, Moody and Bob Meyers. I’m sick of Kerr. He made Warriors years of loser ball now and in the future to come. All at the time we have one of if not the best player of his generation. I’m sick. With Ant, Wiggs, Pool, JK, Moody, and Curry along with our roll players we have a way better team, a contending title team. All wasted because of Kerr. He is the coach. He is mostly too blame. I’m sick. I’m mad.

  19. That Windmill Dunk was a big F U to Kerr. Warriors completely blew it by trading away our future. I bet KP signs somewhere else in the off season. If we were going to trade JK to the Hawks, I would have liked to have received Luke Kennard. We need someone who can shoot.

  20. Kerr is a winner and they have the titles to back that up. The owner and coach aren't on the same page… that's why the GM that built the dynasty left. MDJ is here to keep them under the 2nd apron. On paper the roster is nasty when healthy. All the pieces fit and rotate around Curry gravity…. but the basketball gods aren't rewarding them. Time will tell but the future is looking pretty bleak

  21. Gsw's problem is Draymond didn't like Poole or JK. And most young stars don't want to play with him bc of his violitile nature.

  22. Nobody saying JK is trash he just didn’t work out with the Warriors style and playbook. The entire warriors flow is based on motion and when the warriors drafted JK they hope he can be an added piece. JK can’t read advance plays and it just didn’t work with the warriors. His style works for coaches and playbook like a doc rivers or Ty lue.

  23. At some point we have to acknowledge that Curry not flexing his muscles at any of these moves makes him just as complicit as Kerr.

  24. Bruh… People are stupid. Kuminga has the basketball IQ of a nylon net. THAT'S WHY HE WAS TRADED. Also, because he has the attitude and emotions of a twelve year old. He's not a star. He's a super athletic fun to watch player that will not lead a team anywhere. People are so silly and only care about the sexy flashy players and not intelligent, technically sound players.

  25. Could this be a bigger mistake than the Clippers trading SGA, well if it is the time is upon us to see what could be MVP material over a whole season and I want him to do it more , almost as my favorite player !

  26. Goodness man it's no letting up for you on this guy? What exactly is your live affair with him? Is he from your country? You can't seem to let up off of this guy. You act like this guy is HOF talent in the making. One would think he's the next Penny Hardaway the way you keep bringing this guy up. I thought we were done with this guy after he got traded.

  27. Unfortunately the Warriors will not win another title while Kerr is coaching and Green is playing. And Steph should know this. But the Loyalty of the Owners to Green and Kerr is hamstringing this team.

  28. I'm so surprised to see so many not understanding basket ball, JK wasnt a good fit in GSW, yes he can dunk and run but thats about it and thats what he is doing in his new team but to play in the Steph Curry system you need much more than that. Seriously guy go learn basketball.
