I was the first to say they look like golden state, the 2017 version though. Ball is not as great of shooter as Steph, but he still affects the defense in similar ways just because the defense knows he is willing to take a certain shot. That gravitational pull allows kon to get easier shots, just like it did for Klay. And Brandon style of play just fits right into that system similar to how KD fit right in

The team this Hornets squad reminds me of is the KD/Russ/Harden OKC squad. 3 top 5 picks all hit with time to grow together. Just keep them together!

Is next year the time to bring Steph Curry home? He’ll be able to shoot forever. Or is it too late to see Steph in a Hornets Jersey?
The GSW comp like many people is what comes to mind the most to me with the 2nd half of the season version of the Hornets. Why? Moussa owns defense, extra effort, heart plays and 2nd chance pts. Much like DG did to anchor that team; although never having super-gaudy stats. The 3-pt shooting % is a big reason for the Comp. The Assists per game the 2nd half of the season is very similar to GSW. Remember; b/c defenses had to react to SC30 the way you have to, it created opportunities for other shooters who are high percentage 3-pt shooters. GSW was in the top3 on defense those years – would be the only thing you could say boo to in refuting the comparison. KD, Klay and Steph very accurate shooters from deep. BMill, Kon, LaMello and Bridges are all really good shooters from deep. Sion James at one point was 1st in the league in 3-pt% for eligible players(has fallen off; but he was there). Josh Green – Iggy)does everything including being excellent on defense and shoots a good 3 ball.
Too early for me to give Coby White a comp. BTW – based on what he has done to change the game of basketball "globally" I think there is no way Steph Curry isn't in the top 10 solid.
Was Steph a superstar at 24?
I think in terms of talent we're somewhere in between those young Warriors and that 60 win Atlanta team. More young and talented than that Hawks team that reached the semi's but a tier lower than the dynastic Warrior. Purely in talent alone. We have to prove it first. We have to keep winning.
I like this Charlotte style, if we can develop through the playoffs I think we can see a special group for a few seasons and roll the dice

@walkermeh @dougbransonloh also this team is playing well with a gang of draft picks coming up in the next year. I would really make an effort to get into the top 5 and try to get Caleb Wilson. He is the type of player that fits perfectly…high energy, he got that dog in him, defense, rebounds…athletic….Ball, Kneupple, Miller, Bridges, Diabate, White, Wilson, Kalkbrenner, Green, James…that's 10 quality players and that's not including Grant Williams or Salaun….include the 7 1st round picks and 13 or 14 second round picks in next few years…things are looking great barring injury. Hornets DNA activated…
For me. The Pacers made the finals last year. I think the Hornets have just as much talent.

I like Bill but I never knew he said he wanted the team in Seattle until today. Smh!!! I don't blame y'all one bit for feeling some type of way about him. Heck…I'm still mad at phoenix for trying to take the eagles from philly in 85' when Leonard Tose was selling the team due to financial issues.
