This is getting out of hand…
The San Antonio Spurs have some questions rearing their head with the point guard position, but depth makes it less serious than it appears. Josh Gosse breaks it all down on this episode of Spurs Digest.

Problem is no one even noticed or payed attention to them at all. They are exhausted. Wemby even said as much. The rodeo road trip is grueling. In this game the whole team looked lethargic. Out of sink, unfocused, just plain tired and burned out. Now as for Fox. It hasn't even been a year for Fox playing with this team together. Just gotta be patient and wait. Now the playoffs is why he got that huge contract and if he looks lost and anemic in the playoffs, then let Fox hunting season begin. Till then, this game, this loss means absolutely nothing. After the game no one sounded concerned. The thing Mitch talked about is taking the hesitation out of the player's. Sounds like Mitch is already trying to prepare them for playoffs. He's not worried about win streaks or beating the Knicks. He's worried about the playoffs. That's ultimately where he'll be judged as a coach. If Spurs go into the playoffs and crash and burn. He's getting the majority of that blame not this young team. He knows and is trying to get their mindset right and ready for a playoff push.
The reactions after a loss… jeez.
I told ppl long ago, trae young would have bedn a better option because when he has 7 point games, at least he has 10-15 assists to balance things out
Fox has bad habits – just like Barnes lost his starting spot, Fox should too
Some teams just have your number and vice versa. Knicks know how to beat us, we own the Thunder and most other teams…it's weird but it happens.
Thanks for showing us this detailed analysis, Josh, and telling Spurs Nation to take a breath on the criticism of individual players. I think Fox is voluntarily deferring to Castle and Harper on the offensive end of the court, since Mitch Johnson said as much in an interview. If that is true, Fox is allowing himself to be criticized so that the younger guys can gain valuable experience, which is very Spursy. Will Fox play in San Antone for the rest of his current contract? Who knows? But right now the team overall is growing and improving at a rapid pace. They are suddenly being mentioned as contenders! Something good is happening with our team and it really irks me how we win 11 games in a row and, as soon as we get one loss, so many people jump into the comment sections criticizing coach and players and talking about the "pieces" we are supposedly missing. Thanks for being the voice of reason. Let's withhold judgment, support the team, and see how the season goes.
im spurs fan… for 1 loss why so cry baby its normal its organic..hehehe
When you play great teams, all your deficiencies show up. Our offense is not fluid through Castle as the starting point guard. We get stagnant, if that doesn't change, we will be in trouble in the playoffs because D Fox needs to be the starting point guard!!
I DONT EVEN WANT TO HEAR IT , WE WERE 11-0 IN FEBRUARY SO LET ME KNOW WHEN THE SCHITT REALLY HITS THE FAN AND I DONT SEE THAT ON THE HORIZON ANYTIME SOON!
D Fox peanut head the most inconsistent shooter on the team and he’s a defensive liability!! Give me a solid Wing player over Fox ANY DAY
Spurs loss now the sky is falling
D fox was not like this on the kings , fox now plays like he 35 and acts scared under pressure he gets nervous I think he’s never been on a good team before like this which is why he’s nervous but at this point lowkey we don’t need him we have Harper and castle
B.S. B.S. ENOUGH
I'm amazed at the willingness of some "spurs fans" eagerly share their wealth of team basketball ignorance.
I know way more then this dude..FACT
If Fox had more volume you all would eat your words . He needs to be shooting 18+ shots every game and these issues would resolve themselves
I don't have a problem with the Fox contract except I wish they had made it a descending contract rather that ascending. And I hope they stop cheating the game. I know it's some modern play style but putting your big on a non shooter to roam and a guard on the other teams big doesn't work. Put Wemby on the bigs or run double bigs with the French vanilla lineup and let Wemby roam that way so at least Kornet is out there to box out the bigs like KAT who dominated the boards last game
Fox does need to step up and score how he's capable of doing. But it's hilarious how now the media is flop flopping real quick 🤣
11-1 over the last 12 games…. shiiiiiit I'll take it
Spurs will loose next 8….it's a paper castle about to tumble…. we'll still end up loosing first round po….too young
Man all y'all need to shut up bro were good y'all just trying to see the spurs split up and start fake ass rumors.
Lmfao everybody chill and get some air.
