The Villain Who Saved Phoenix

The Villain Who Saved Phoenix

Heading into this season, most Phoenix Suns fans were hopeless. And you couldn’t blame them for it.

But when this season tipped off, something actually clicked and the guy driving the cultural renaissance in the desert was none other than Dillon Brooks.

Yeah, that Dillon Brooks.

  1. never liked this dude ever since memphis, but HPN made a video abt him, i guess im about to like him in a few mins

  2. Dillon brooks went from one of the most unwanted and hated in the NBA players in Memphis, to a high value player in Houston/Phoenix. His turnaround is crazy

  3. How many times does it need to be proven that adding competitive and winning players to a team works better than just trying to slap together a team of great individual players?

  4. I've watched a fair few Suns game this season, and honestly I think they'll hold it together better than most would think. Sure they lose his shotmaking and on-the-court fire, but that kind of energy is contagious, and they've had the majority of a season to gel with it. They may not reach as high without him, but I'm confident in their newfound resilience. And with that (Jalen Green buzzer beater!) win vs the Magic a week ago, I think that illustrates my point right there.

    They'll keep fighting, for sure

  5. You’ll hate him on every other team. But you’ll love him on yours.

Although a lot of these guys do take it too far. Draymond is the clear example, but lu dort with his sneaky undercutting using his legs is just as dirty. The line between dirty and gritty gets blurred.

  6. Nah Brooks a whole puss cee. Wanted to take shots at the king and missed never mess with the goat. Got what he deserved.

  7. #3 was being wasted in phx with Beal. He wasn’t enough to be a successor for that number after CP3. Brooks put some respect back to #3 in PHX 😤
