In this episode, I explain how Gui Santos has become the Warriors’ best player, and is helping the team keep afloat near a .500 record without Steph Curry, which is a lot more impressive than it sounds. With Al Horford, Quinten Post, and Santos shutting off points in the paint, the Warriors have managed to find great balance on both ends, and have played sound enough basketball to compete against any team despite missing their first three options.
Warriors ability to play better consistently when Draymond Green doesn’t play continues to be on the watch.

I liked how Leons looked in lineups with Gui and a big. If he can just knock down the easy open shots on offense and use his size properly on defense and on the boards, we might finally get some fundamentally sound combinations on the floor: two guards, two forwards, and a center — instead of guards pretending to be forwards.
Steve Kerr is the problem with this team
I suddenly had an insight on why Steve Kerr keeps sabotaging the line-ups. Kerr is tired; he doesn't want to go to the playoffs. Because that would mean even heavier responsibility on coaching and load management on him.

Podz? lol yeah if you play him long enough of course he will eventually score….he holds the ball way too long and cant handle the ball. He also steals rebounds from his own teammates

I'm really "surprised" that's wasn't Hield the one playing with very good stats, and Kuminga the other out of rotation. I really can't guess why a guy like Kuminga, "full of leaks", that never can't find his place in our Dinasty Team, the one with double doubles every single he played, putting solid two digits in TO and minus +/- stats, "suddenly" start to play very well. Also, how a future HOF player caliber like Hield, the one who was the "other" piece of The Splash Buddies, the center of Kerr "best" rotations with 4 or more guards by his skills to play high level basketball attack and defense from, 1 to 5 positions, is the guy out of the rotation.

Podz doesn't know how to pick and roll. He's not a PG from that perspective. He has bad peripheral vision and dpesn't have tunnel vision.
Problem with dray is so bad offense basically we playing 4 on 5 everytime he jn lineup. Before he defense so good it worth keeping him now he keep getting beat on defense
It should be clear now to Kerr (??) that Warriors play better without Draymond.
The day of reckoning approaches. It may be coach kerrs decision to continue to ride n die w his guys or ride w the young guns. The 2nd timeline is alive and kicking. Get into the playoffs and let the young guns prove their worth.

This game was my first in person NBA game and getting to see my Warriors take a big dub was a dream come true. Watching Gui and Richard play their hearts out and get the dub was amazing to see in person. And i was actually happy to see Kerr play decent line ups, ofc he played his stupid line ups sometimes but for the majority of the game it was good line ups. After the first half seeing them score 74 i was telling myself that we had the game in the bag and we did. Keep up the amazing breakdowns and work Jim God bless🙏🏻
Leons was a steal from OKC if they weren't so loaded I believe he could've made their roster nice chess piece if Kerr is smart

I agree 100%. Keep Draymond for the rest of the season to come in off of the bench. as concerned about the point guard position early on but now we can keep fresh legs on the point position. We can control the boards with the players we have if they can stay healthy. Our defense is better because we can play with more size.

Gui Santos has an absurd growth potential thinking about the future… if the Warriors don't want him, I'm sure there are other teams keeping an eye on him wanting him to play.
Well, 3 years, $15M. I would say Gui needs new representation. He undervalued himself by at least $10M a year. Good for Lacob, quite a bit of undervaluing by Gui and his rep(s).
