Giannis Antetokounmpo Returns But the Bucks Struggles Continue | Three Blowout Losses In A Row

Milwaukee Bucks’ losing streak continues with a 108-81 blowout loss against a shorthanded Boston Celtics squad. Even Giannis Antetokounmpo’s return couldn’t revive the team, as offensive struggles and lackluster effort continue to plague Milwaukee. Are mounting losses and questionable rotations under Doc Rivers signaling deeper issues for the Bucks’ identity and playoff hopes?

Camille Davis and Frank Madden dissect Giannis’s impact after missing 15 games, highlight the surprising benching of Kyle Kuzma, and explore what the path forward should be for the Bucks. Discussion focuses on Doc Rivers’ desperate lineup changes, the importance of finding potential core pieces around Giannis, and Milwaukee’s looming challenge to contend for a play-in spot. Can the Bucks rediscover their competitiveness, or is this season unraveling before April?

  1. Doc should be fired we run absolutely no offensive plays. Only play players that hustle. AJ green is an nba player but not a starter. Bobby can’t move. Kuzma I’m out on him. Get the ball to Giannis and everyone play off of him

  2. Stayed in bucks for this?

Yall finna find out why yall shoulda traded for Kuminga tonight lol

  3. I actually liked the starting lineup, but they sucked. The issues I see are:
-No offensive role for Myles Turner
-Lack of maximization of Giannis and Turner rim protection
-failure for ALL PLAYERS to stick with their man. Refusal to use Giannis as a roamer, because of excessive use of zone. Over-switching rather than solid man defense where Giannis and Turner are trusted to recover and clean up at the rim
-Egos and insecurities of Rollins, Thomas, Porter jr
-lack of reliable schematics to run–iso and improv with zero plan to speak of
-Rollins has struggled with selfishness all season; doesn't appear interested in or mature enough for team play

If doc could just implement an actual scheme… looking at the personnel, we might want to consider using drop as our defensive shell, more trust in man defense. use of giannis as a free safety/ rim protector. Improve rotations. All coaching. Offensively, we should be relying on spread pick n roll, running a lot of sets for cam, and a lot of lobs to jericho and giannis, give dieng some opportunity to handle the ball, mirroring the khris/giannis duo.

This team shouldn't suck this bad. I GENUINELY believe the personnel should've gotten us to the 6th seed. Unfortunately, the coaching staff is not implementing any cohesive and continual system. Everything changes in every single game.

  4. The starting lineup wasn’t horrible considering Giannis was playing his first game in over a month. The second unit couldn’t score or stop the Celtics from scoring. That was the group that let it get out of control.

Kuzma is the backup PF and should be on the floor when Giannis isn’t. Bobby is fine on the floor with Giannis so he should probably be subbing at center to play with Giannis. Sims should get center minutes with Kuzma. Dieng should be starting at SF because he is the only SF on the team and his tools are good enough at 22 (after being a lottery pick) to be the starter over the next few seasons. The logjam at SG is the biggest problem. You have Green, Thomas, Trent, Harris, Jackson. We’re not going to see AJAX play any real minutes. We shouldn’t see Harris play real minutes. Sadly I think the odd man out for 2 spots is GTJ who might be the best all around player of the 3 and probably should be starting.

  5. Only guy I see regularly getting rebs is Jericho Sims. Let's hope the return of Giannis and the insertion of Dieng into the starting lineup brings help.

Kuzma's benching (tho he has been shooting well recently) might be indicative of the team tuning out Doc or experiencing some form of malaise..

On the bright side, Giannis is back. The team will have to readapt to playing around him and let's hope quickly and effectively.

  6. Historic roster flashback. Last night, at one point in the second quarter, I noticed, that the only Celtics player on the floor that was not white (racially) was named White. That note worthy but meaningless Celtics all "white" roster statistic might go way back to the 1946-1950 years.

  7. Can we get a fix the bucks video? lol. I know it’s not the offseason but it feels like we are striving towards a high draft pick. I want all 2 way players that are team players with a bigger emphasis on rebounding and improving small forward. Also let’s get what we can for the guys that are bad team fits. This season makes me want to fire up 2k and be the gm of the bucks. New coach please.

  8. This roster is talented however the direction from the head coach is not working! Doc’s coaching style is so outdated. In today’s NBA, it doesn’t not work! He’s had 3 years to get this team to make a run. We are not making the play-in.

  9. If Jason kidd got fired, and Adrian Griffen, and Bud….then how the hell is doc still the head coach????? Makes no freaking sense.
