ALL Signs Point to THIS…

Claiming a road win over the Chicago Bulls, 116-108, the shorthanded Thunder are once again in the victory column. This time, it comes despite the absence of the reigning 2025 Kia NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (SGA), All-NBA Third and Defensive team member Jalen Williams (JDub), Isaiah Hartenstein, Ajay Mitchell, and more. But OKC has, by far, the most depth in the NBA. It showed tonight in Chicago, where 6 players on the shorthanded thunder squad (Jaylin Williams, Aaron Wiggins, Jared McCain, Cason Wallace, Isaiah Joe, and Chet Holmgren) dropped a dozen or more in the dub. No Batman (SGA), no Robin (JDub), no problem: Gabriel Ebersole covers how win 47 came courtesy of OKC’s signature recipe, the do it all back up big (Jaylin Williams), the newcomer cooking in the kitchen where he belongs (Jared McCain), and rounding out with how Chet Holmgren’s holding it down, but needs one element to his game to put it all together.

  1. Chet looked great on both ends, would like to see him shoot more. Jared looked great, lots of movement and shooting and good effort on defense. Joe has another good game even though the 3-ball wasn't falling. J-Will was so close again to having a monster triple double, really controlled the floor. Wiggins finally had a game closer to expectation; I hope this is his turn around moment.

  2. I love seeing Jwill do well. His team first style of play, positive attitude and effort, makes his teammates better, so happy for a guy like him to be doing well

  3. This is one of those games that is almost unwatchable and is a result of what the Warriors did jacking up all those 3s and winning championships because every team now tries to emulate it. These two teams combined to miss 64 threes in this game. There were 91 of them taken. That's almost two per minute. I'm sorry but this is not what basketball is supposed to be about. The NBA needs to do something about this. It's pure shit to watch.

  4. 2:29 they are almost guaranteed to win if they get over 50 points in the paint. Jordan said it a long time ago. Sumerized. Games are won by twos. You can't be a winner with your scorers waiting aroundat the 3 point line. Move the bodies, score in the paint. Make your and 1.

  5. Can't wait to see my Spurs battle the Thunder in the playoffs. May the best team win!
