  1. Damn SA โ€ฆ itโ€™s not THAT serious ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ youโ€™re literally arguing with a teamโ€™s social media dept ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ youโ€™re fighting ghost at this point..

  2. SAS really got them tho lol nobody cares about the Pels outside New Orleans ๐Ÿ˜‚ and his job is to talk about them so in a way he makes money outta that franchise lol

  3. lmao he has no problem going after everybody but when someone comes after him his feelings get hurt.

  4. This dude is such a clown. He sounds like he is some bum writing for the National Enquirer, instead of an actual sports journalist.

  5. People act like Zion is the first NBA star who eats more than he probably should and gets chunky
Edit: lol he's this salty about the teams Twitter community manager or whatever? Cmon, man…

  6. SAS wants drama and he knows thats what gets him views. He was happy he had something to talk about on First Take. He'll happily go back and forth on this topic

  7. Dude wants to run for President one day and he can't take the heat from an NBA social media team? Good luck with that.

  8. Zion lost some passion when the NBA pulled the okie doke on him. He was going to the Knicks with that 1st round pick until AD left for Lakers. NBA feared no one would show up to the Pels games without a marquee player. So of course Pels get the 1st pick. Same thing they did for Dallas when Luka left. Same thing when Bron left for Miami. Shared revenue leagues do that.

  9. SAS sensitive. He absorbs everything to the bone. He needs some features so shit can just roll off of him. Damn. As much as he talk about these athletes as if they donโ€™t have feelings and families.

  10. Let me make a case for Zion Williamson that isnโ€™t being made clearly enough. ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ๐Ÿ€
    โ€‹1/ The Julius Peppers Paradox
Julius Peppers. 6'7", 285 lbs. One of the top 10 athletes to EVER play in the NFL. A universal genetic marvel. Nobody wrote think pieces about his diet. Why? Because he looked chiseledโ€”the "aesthetic" of an elite athlete.
โ€‹But letโ€™s look at what Peppers could NOT do. He had a 37.5" vertical. Zion? 47 inches. Zion is generating that explosive power at roughly 315 lbs (letโ€™s be real, heโ€™s well past that college 285). The gap in explosive power is almost incomprehensible.
    โ€‹2/ The Aesthetic Bias
The criticism of Zion is 100% visual. If he looked like a bodybuilder, weโ€™d call him a god. Because he carries his mass differently, we call him "out of shape." But you donโ€™t have a 47" vertical and lead the league in rim pressure if you aren't in elite condition. Heโ€™s not fat; heโ€™s just big as shit.
    โ€‹3/ The 6,000-Calorie Engine ๐Ÿฅฉ๐Ÿ”ฅ
People aren't always big because they eat too much; they eat a lot because they are BIG. An elite athlete moving 315 lbs at Zion's intensity needs 5,000โ€“6,000 calories a day just to recover.
    โ€‹The Math: BMR + (Game Output) + (Muscle Repair Tax) = text{Massive Fuel Intake}.
โ€‹Asking a 25-year-old to get 6k calories from strictly broccoli and chicken is a mental health nightmare. He has to eat to play, not to look a certain way for your TV screen.
    โ€‹4/ The 2026 Evolution ๐Ÿ“ˆ
Look at the data from this season (March 2026). He just finished a stretch of 35 consecutive games. Thatโ€™s not luck; itโ€™s intelligence.
โ€‹Smarter IQ: Heโ€™s shooting more floaters and short-rolls, cutting down the "car-crash" landings.
โ€‹Point Zion: An 18.9% assist rate. Heโ€™s letting the ball do the work, managing his gravity, and punishing defenses with his brain, not just his bulk.
    โ€‹5/ Give Him His Grace
There has never been a human being at his height and weight with this level of athleticism. Not one. He is a Category of Oneโ€”and we keep judging him by standards built for bodies that don't compare to his.
โ€‹Heโ€™s healthy. Heโ€™s playing smarter. Heโ€™s 25 years old. Give Zion his grace. Heโ€™s earned it. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

  11. At 8:15 I thought to myself "damn, he's cutting what would be a great promo on a wrestling mic"

And a few seconds later he calls himself the American Dream ๐Ÿ˜‚

  12. Can we stop pretending like Stephen A Smithโ€™s opinion matters. The guy has achieved nothing. People love giving Kendrick Perkins shit but he achieved something, he was one of the best interior defenders in the NBA before injury. SAS is just a guy that likes basketball, you get better analysis from Bill Burr.

  13. I dont like Stephen A but how is he wrong here.
he just being a journalist no? it wasnt even about him in the first place.
