How the Jazz Broke Jokic With an Undersized Nobody (Piggyback Included)
Jokic vs. The Utah Jazz was one of the wilder post battles I’ve broken down in a while.
Elijah Hartlis — a two-way guy giving up 8 inches and 95 pounds — used his low center of gravity to get underneath Jokic and completely disrupt his catch points. That alone is legitimate defense. But when you start grabbing legs and shorts to root him out of position, you’re crossing a line the refs need to address.
And Jokic’s response? He literally turned it into a piggyback ride. I get the frustration, but you can’t just go through a guy — even if he’s bending his body into an illegal position.
The Jazz also did a nice job fronting the post and sandwiching him with a second defender to take away the lob. It forced Denver into early rotations and created some easy looks in the short roll.
Full breakdown is up now.

So… You cant get low in basketball? Illegal position? Need an explanation
This pissed him off every team should do this to him
What made Jokic mad was the sneaky knee grab that locked him and couldn't move anywhere but forward.
