  1. It feels great to know the bulls are not in play in purgagory anymore. That got passed on to the Hawks. Proudest ive been to be a fan since….

  2. When people debate the greatest basketball player of all time, names like Michael Jordan and LeBron James always come up. But for this generation, especially in Oklahoma City, the conversation is changing. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has built a case that makes fans confidently say he’s the GOAT. His skill, leadership, mindset, and impact on the game make him one of the most special players in NBA history.

First, Shai’s scoring ability is elite. He can score from anywhere on the court—midrange, three-point line, and at the rim. What makes him different is his pace. He doesn’t rely on crazy speed; instead, he controls the game with smooth footwork and hesitation moves that leave defenders guessing. His ability to create his own shot in tough situations makes him nearly unstoppable.

Second, his efficiency separates him from many superstars. Shai doesn’t just score a lot—he scores smart. He picks his spots carefully and rarely forces bad shots. That kind of discipline shows a high basketball IQ and maturity beyond his years. Greatness isn’t just about points; it’s about making winning plays.

Another reason Shai stands out is his leadership. On the Oklahoma City Thunder, he has embraced the role of franchise leader. Even while the team was rebuilding, he stayed loyal and focused on growth. He leads by example with hard work and calm confidence, which inspires his teammates to raise their level.

Defense is also part of his greatness. Many elite scorers relax on defense, but Shai competes on both ends of the floor. His length and instincts allow him to get steals and disrupt passing lanes. Being a two-way player strengthens his argument in the GOAT conversation because true legends dominate the full game.

Shai’s composure in clutch moments is another key factor. When the game is on the line, he does not panic. He slows the game down and finds the best possible shot. That ability to perform under pressure is what defines legendary players throughout basketball history.

Beyond statistics, Shai has changed the culture of the Thunder. He helped turn a young, rebuilding squad into a playoff contender. His belief in the organization and his steady improvement each season show that greatness is built over time, not overnight.

His style also makes him unique. Shai blends creativity and fundamentals perfectly. He studies the game, learns from the greats before him, and adds his own flair. That originality makes him not just effective, but exciting to watch.

Shai’s work ethic is another reason fans believe he can reach the very top. Every offseason he comes back stronger, sharper, and more polished. Improvement is the mark of someone chasing greatness, and Shai clearly has that hunger.

In conclusion, calling Shai Gilgeous-Alexander the GOAT might seem bold to some, but his skill, leadership, efficiency, defense, and mindset all support the argument. He represents the future of the NBA while honoring the greatness of the past. If he continues on this path, the debate may not be a debate for long—Shai might truly be the greatest of all time

  5. My grampa saw Pete maravach traded, my dad saw Dominique get traded, I see Trae getting traded, who is next?

  6. Technically speaking the Mavs are the most mid team throughout history as their .504 record is closer to .500 than the Hawks .493 but since the Hawks haven’t won a championship since 1958 they probably are the most mid team
