  1. How about teams getting fined twice by the commissioner for tanking and you lose your 1st round pick. Teams will tank notice then. ☺
Of course Silver will have to scrutinize the tanking methods 🧐ever more so.

  2. I believe the PWHL solved tanking or at least has the most interesting lottery system. Once a team is eliminated from the playoffs their record from that point on till the end of the season is used to determine the order. The Team with the best record with get the best pick. So the earlier you get eliminated the more time you have to stack wins which makes team want to win late in the year not loose

  3. Are we going to be tanking for years? We can have a team of say Giddey- Acuff- Matas- Eason- Mark Williams next season and probably be a play in team.

Maybe we even luck into a top 3 pick this year.

  4. I personally think we’ll go after Peyton Watson as well as Walker Kessler. My hope is that we’ll actually find a quality shooter for cheap as well. Given that we most likely will be picking 9th, I think it would be malpractice if we overlook both wagler/Acuff and draft for “need”. In my opinion, both will be better than Josh Giddey in 3 years

  5. My dream scenario: We land the top pick and Portland makes playoffs. We get AJ to play the 2 and challenge him to be the next MJ. We use NO 2nd and other future 2nds to trade up into late first and get Mara as a developmental center. We trade PWill, Jalen, Portland pick, our 2027, 2029, and maybe 2031 1sts (plus any 2nds needed) for Giannis (with Giannis pushing to want to play with AJ and Noa). It might wait until free agency to incorporate sign and trades (Ivey or Sexton or Collins?). We stay enough under the cap to give big offer to Kessler or Mark Williams. We bring back Simmons as our bench microwave scorer (since now we're young and contending) to go with some combination of Tre, Okoro, Miller, Noa, Mara (and Richards or Yabusele or Sexton or Ivey if you bring them back). In this scenario, Dillingham is a wild card. Maybe rides the bench, maybe included in Giannis deal.

Then we might be able to compete with the darling dynasties brewing in OKC and SA 😅

    One can only dream…

  6. My idea: Picks 30-9 are set by record. The bottom 8 play a tournament to determine who gets the 1st pick. Traded your pick away? Make sure to add top 8 protection or you can choose to forfeit the game and guarantee a lower pick to the team you traded the pick to.

  7. What do you think about get rid of the play in for the playoffs and do a play in at the end of the season between 9th and 10th in the east and west then the winner plays each other for the 1st and 2nd picks then the looser plays each other for the 3rd and 4th picks then the draft goes the regular way starting at the 5 pick.

  8. The Bulls are a cheap team. This is Reinsdorf method: When players come up to be paid, trade them, get picks, play said picks at rookie deal, and toss them when you're done, unless the player will take a low contract. Sure, you keep guys like Giddey around (and strangely pay busts like Patrick Williams) so you don't play to an empty stadium, but the Bulls have rarely taken a big financial swing to win. And they won't. This team won't compete for a title unless they get Derrick Rose-level luck, or the team is sold. The Bulls don't care about being relevant; It's a dynasty of mediocrity.

  9. Bulls management and decision making is so bad. They didn’t wanna tear it down and start this process 3 years ago, or even 2, well now you deserve to be in this position. What a terrible organization. I can’t believe that top 5 market has a bottom 3 organization. Unbelievable.

  10. 2nd comment, this organization is so present focused that they can’t see anything beyond 1 year. Can you imagine that they could have had Pelicans pick which has a huge chance of being the #1 overall pick. So you could have had 2 top 10 picks in this draft. But nooooooo they rather have Esengue 😂. What a terrible terrible organization.

  11. We should have kept Ayo on this team for vet leadership, this team feels like a boat without a rudder and the return we got was dogshit, none of the 2nd round picks are this year and the ones we got are from playoff teams

  12. Also, Nba draft is rigged. So, we need to ask, can NBA make money if Bulls are good? That is only way Bulls get "lucky" at draft lottery.

  13. Flat lottery odds for all teams that don’t make the playoffs. No team can be in the lottery more than two years in a row. Teams lose their first round pick if they are lottery eligible for three straight years.
