Whenever the news is negative the media points to LeBron. For Luka it’s just the opposite. Luka gets tied mostly to positive news. LeBron and Luka are a mismatch. We replaced AD with Luka. After that trade certain players no longer fit. LeBron and Austin are in the no longer fits category.

The front office cannot play Luka the way they did in the past all players, the new owner must fire the four cancer front office destroying the franchise before Luka bolt out. Pelinka and Jeanie must go now since they cannot assemble good players.
Even if Lebron leaves Luka has to commit to defense drastically AR tries at least. But no matter what the new front office does, having two guys on the floor who can be switch hunted all game is not going to work. As the Lakers improve so is the top of the west. An I don’t think the top teams fear a Luka AR combo, Like they did AD Lebron.

If the Lakers make the right moves they can win it next year. Remember before we won in 2020 all the pundits had the Clippers winning the chip.
Shocked to hear Jason say Bron has declined. While for his age, he’s playing great, he’s worse then Luka on defense the last 2 months and he’s gotten way worse from 3 and back to the basket
Lakers not winning no chip with Luka and AR. Teams already know to hunt them they are complete liabilities in the backcourt. And to build the perfect team around them will take too long and by then Luka will be washed or ready to leave. I’m willing to bet by 2028 Luka will be ready to go to another team or go back to Europe and play. He’s never getting a ring on the lakers and he’s never winning mvp. Too many other players better than him SGA, Antman, joker, Cade, Jaylen brown, wemby, Giannis. Oh 1 more thing if you pay Austin the money he wants you never gonna build the perfect team cause his salary will be a handicap

1:38 This is my uneducated opinion. But I find it hard to believe Luka resigns if he wasn’t willing to sacrifice some of his prime for this Lakers project and I think Rob, Jeanie, whoever told him about new ownership coming in and the complications with that. Given that he resigned knowing we were going to be bad this year, I think they broke down what the plan is he’s relatively satisfied and we offer him to resign a max extension next summer. Unlikely he won’t take that contract because that’s the last time he’s going to make that amount of money on a long contract. If it doesn’t work out and he gets frustrated/doesn’t resign you trade him latest during the 2028 mid season trade window.
Lakers will win it all this season. Book it.!!!! Gooooooooooo Lakers baby.
