  1. French question #1 How do you feel about the refereeing , how do they deal with you this season compared to your rookie season ? Do you give them causes [ for fouls ?] You did not before ? At least, we feel it's starting to happen now …Wemby : I'd say a little, yes. And essentially, I have made a lot of efforts to improve my game IQ. Early in my career I was not very good at punishing action that went against the rules on the court. But now, even if it goes against my nature to try and make them foul, I've found out it is the best way to punish dirty playing, when an opponent goes against the rules to do something they should not do. So that is something I put a lot of work on. Also I feel that this season in the NBA the physicality really went up – I'm not sure how it is perceived from outside , but I feel it's been made clear by the number of fights that broke out

  2. French question #2 How was it for you to hear the Marseillaise right before the game [ French national anthem] …… Victor: Oh, that felt good. It was a warm feeling ( literally: good in my heart). If I had not been warming up at the time, I would have sung along too. Reporter's reaction. : there is still a whole week left . Victor,(pleased about it) : Cool.

  3. I'll make it short this time: As Vic said, last night, the Spurs were "the best team in the world" and Vic was "the best player in the world". Now, confirmation is needed against the Hornets, not Denver, the Hornets, who to me have been "the best team in the world" since January. I "secretly" hope the finals will feature the Spurs and Hornets. Both teams are much more entertaining than the often boring Detroit and OKC and I don’t like Detroit’s and OKC’s dumb bullies

  4. It’s kind of amazing how he speaks. I don’t mean English. He is very eloquent and he really thinks out his answers.
Then regarding how he plays, the growth he is showing for fixing things that didn’t work, it really does seem that this is a game of chess for him.
