Milan earned an early lead in the opening quarter and built on it in the second. The key period was the third however, when the hosts ran away with the contest by widening the margin to a huge 27 points (78-51). Barcelona pushed back in the final quarter, as Milan showed real signs of sluggishness and turned the ball over with consistency. Amazingly, Barca made it a two-point game, but it wasn’t enough and Milan held on for the unjustifiably narrow W.
Zach LeDay played the starring role, pairing 16 points with 7 boards. Leandro Bolmaro also made his mark on the game, recording 13 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists. Quinn Ellis’s defensive effort paid off, as he combined 3 steals with his 5 assists. Bolstering the offense further, Devin Booker, Armoni Brooks and Josh Nebo also finished the clash on double figures.
