Either Jabari or Tari gotta go can’t keep both
Trade Erbody
You suck, Ime. Not starting Reed impacts the whole game. When he’s not out there, KD and Alpi struggle to find their rhythm early, and frustration starts creeping in within the first 6–7 minutes. The offense stalls, they can’t get into their sets, and you start seeing the body language change. Guys begin to begrudge each other because nothing is flowing, and instead of just battling the opponent, they’re also battling their own frustration.
Now they’re trying to refocus on the game while also wondering why they can’t even run simple plays. That’s why we’re always playing catch-up in the second quarter and for the rest of the game. Starting Amen in the wrong role disrupts everything. There’s no offensive flow in those first 6–7 minutes, and it puts the team behind from the start.
No one but Reed was hitting their shots
The fact that they did not trade sengun is mine baffling to me. It's almost disgusting watching this dude play. ROCKETS SHOULD TRADE SENGUn, trash on defense and inconsistent offensehe's a hard watch.
Reed not a great defender everyone knows it okay so why can’t the defensive minded coach figure out how to compensate for it
Rockets has a TO problem and a coaching problem. Gazillion of problem for a 3rd seed
Rumor has it, Reed Sheppard has an unusually long love organ.
WARRIORS owned the Rockets and does not matter who's in their lineup even their bench, too bad !
These rockets fan boiz are not realistic 😂😂😂
Bari gotta go
Rocket center is a good scorer, but he has no want to when it comes to defense, and he has no athletic ability.
Red is hitting 40% of his three-pointers !!! so how can you say he’s not really a good three point shooter?
Good stuff, Swaggy. I was at the game tonight. A few thoughts: (1) I've been a huge Sengun supporter but his defense has gotten worse. I've seen him play decent defense before but he gets beat on backdoor cuts or loses his man far too often. If he was a shotblocker that could be a backline defender for when our perimeter guys get beat (Reed, etc…) then that'd be a different story, but that's not his game. (2) Udoka has Amen playing so much on-ball in this year's "point guard experiment" (since FVV is out) that it's almost unfair to him. His defense has also taken a step back this year (overall, not specifically talking about tonight…) and not playing to his strength with him in the dunker spot to utilize his athleticism and his ability to offensive rebound is not a great use of his talents. Instead of a swiss army knife-type of player where he's an All-NBA defender and can play free safety all over the court, we're having him initiate offense and putting him in a position at PG where the man is now expected to hit 3's consistently. And right now he's not there. (3) Something that stood out so much tonight is how much the Warriors offense flowed compared to ours. They were getting into their sets immediately and actually seemed to have a plan, a backup plan, and a backup to the backup….meanwhile we continuously wait until there's about 12 seconds on the clock before we force it to either KD or Sengun and hope they make something happen or it gets kicked out to another player for a grenade. Udoka came here 3 years ago and totally reset the team culture (along with FVV and Dillon). But far too often it seems like the other teams just have a smoothness to their offensive sets and schemes that we don't have. Cheers from The Woodlands!
Sengun is trash
I see Sengun's critics: Sheppard is not a playmaker, he focuses on shooting rather than making plays. No position is being prepared for Sengun. He scores points mostly with his own effort. Sheppard cannot defend. Sengun is expected to make plays, dribble the ball, distribute passes, score points and defend. As it is understood from the idiots here, Alperen Sengun needs to get out of the Rockets pit.
FIRE IME
This season is so cooked
Facts are the facts: Sengun is good for a rebuilding team, not a contending team… why? Because of his limitations… 5th year in still cant shoot outside 5ft, inside 5ft he is below average, not a good pick and roll big, provides no vertical threat, not a good pick a pop big, cant shoot… he only good for iso, but below average at finishing and even if he gets to the free throw line, he sucks at that. Defense is horrible, offensive is not consistent nor good enough to off-set his bad defense… Sengun =Enes Kanter, the only difference is, Kanter was a good post scorer and Kanter never got the opportunity to jack up 20 shots a gane on a Team… Remember folks, just because Sengun has the Opportunity to take a lot of shots dosent mean he is better than Centers who plays on a team who does not have the opportunity to take alot of shots… all in all, Sengun will be gone this summer, should have cut bait with him sooner, trade value is tanking for him, every game he gets exposed
Plus always losing to garbage teams
