Been saying it for a while, and it remains true, SGA is the best player in the world. Back-to-back champ, back-to-back MVP. There is no debate. Nuggets have sucked since Jokić has been back. SGA continues to clown Jokić every time they play each other. End of discussion.

Takes care of the ball more , is probably the most efficient guard ever, 30 guaranteed a night no matter who’s in the lineup with him and got his team number 1 in the west for the 3rd straight year. Ain’t no way I’m putting the other guy higher just cus he passes the ball to someone else to hit shots more, or (because he’s a 7ft center) grabs more rebounds. Why are the block numbers so similar ? Less turnovers ? Plus defender ? Everyone gonna say team but Jokic easily has/had better offensive players on his team where shai has the better defenders. On paper/ in a draft nobody is taking Cason Wallace Chet and jdub over Murray or porter jr

We just had an MVP vs MVP battle, and we saw 1 MVP put up 23 points by taking 25 shots😂??? Like why are we still even comparing these 2? Jokic won his first ring at 28, SGA won his first ring at 26. Jokic is the leader of the team, if you dont play defense nobody is else going to want to either. Thats the difference between SGA and Jokic, SGA is a real leader, leading by example and his younger team members follow. He's the MVP its not even a debate anymore.
I swear if we changed Jokic name to LBJ people would tell the truth. He sucks on defense. Hated players get hate and loved ones get defended. He sucks on defense. The guy has 1 decent defensive night and we ignore the 5 bad ones. Offense is his game. Simple. You can't hide a bad rim protector. He can't even defend a pick and roll or pick and pop. He sucks. Get over it. Doesn't make him a worse player. He's still top 3 in the league. AI was never a good defender but he's gunna give you 30. We accepted it. For some reason we try and dance around advanced stats and nonsense to make Jokic seem like he's good 😂

Love this panel btw! OKC are the best team in the NBA, but it ain’t over until it’s over. Ask the players for the Thunder, they know that. Saying SGA is better without question sounds staggeringly biased, perhaps their peers in their greatness but that statement is riddled with errors. It’s also an apples to oranges thing. SGA deserves the MVP. I’m not particularly biased. Nuance gets buried beneath absolutist statements like that. There’s more to it then ppg.

The reason that the nuggets have no identify when Jokic is on the bench is partly due to the lack of versatility Jokic has when he’s on the court. He HAS to be the hub and the offensive focal point. So when he’s out of the equation obviously they are going to be lost.
Shai can play off ball and allow his teammates to figure it out on their own. Stop using the bench as a prop for Jokic when he doesn’t enable them
SGA is the ONLY player in the league right now that's in the 90th percentile in defense, playmaking, and scoring.
