No no no no no castle definitely shut down cade Cunningham lol. He kind of went on a surge in the last quarter but for most of the game he was lock & key in that castle

Cade actually didn't play well at all. The highlights and box score sort of obscure that. He was 10/26 from the field for the game, and that was with his good 4th quarter run included.
I feel their pain every time I see a rolled ankle… in high school there was 1 summer I rolled my ankle EVERY damn day for 3 months. I kept playing, just taping it… then when it finally healed and I could fully jump high enough again to grab the rim, I landed on a foot grabbing a rebound and broke my ankle. A week later cut off my cast to play in a game. Now as an adult my ankle is jello because it never healed correctly so kids always rest your injuries lol

Still didn't see the basketball appear. These spurs are for real and are a problem for the league until salary catches up to them. The Fox deal will be seen as a mistake unless he goes turbo mode in the playoffs

To me the main issue with this team especially in a playoff setting is that their shooting other than julian, harrison, and vassell is pretty shaky, they’ll live with guys like castle and even de’aaron settling for threes, which they’ll probably get alot of especially with teams likely loading up on wemby.. the question with be whether the defense will be elite enough to counter that

GSG!! ..to be fair bro you were right about last year💯 Wemby jus had that blood clot and he was forced to sit out the season which we lost almost every game without him so again had that not happened we would of went to the play offs ..

IM SO DAMN TRIED of this lame ass narrative these Cade fans and the fake Wemby fans keep making, saying Cade being taken out of the game is not because of Castle, and how it's "mainly Wemby." It's so damn funny how when you ACTUALLY watch games without shades (shit even the highlights!!!), you'll notice when Castle is guarding Cade, Cade passes out, or when he tries to make offense, he misses like 90% of the time when Castle is guarding him… or the Pistons try their hardest to get Castle off of Cade. Yet somehow those lames can see when Castle isn't guarding Cade, Cade starts scoring even when Wemby is in the game. Like this narrative to discredit Castle makes no sense to me, esp when we have video proof showing Castle is the reason. They're doing it in these comments, too, Saying its not Castle its Wemby. Like Cade has gotten the majority of his points in both games when Castle ISNT guaridng him, esp when Wemby is still in the game. The disrespect Castle gets is so damn annoying to me as a Spurs fan. Like I love Wemby, but unlike these bandwagons and fake fans, (all is welcomed in the Spurs fan base but still), I'm a Spurs fan first. Wemby is a factor bc hes just a big impact in the paint and on help defense… OBV the core of the defense… but RESPECT CASTLE. Castle has locked down every top guard in the league, even locked down KD and Sengun… yet he gets no credit. Its like the d riders know Castle doesn't play every min of the game… yet when Wemby is out there without Castle, yes, he makes insane defensive plays and impacts shots, but these players still score on anyone else who isnt Castle more than when Castle is guarding him. So again RESPECT CASTLE PEOPLE. FIRST TEAM ALL DEFENSE.
No team can beat the Spurs in a 7 game series…if they play OKC, PKC will get OBLITERATED. OKC is too weak…too puny…too slow for the Spurs. OKC has no answer for the HUGE Spurs guards, and Spurs bigs are TWICE AS GOOD as OKC'S. Why doesn't Holmgren guard Wemby? BECAUSE…HE CANNOT DO IT.
Like at the end of the game, Castle was on the bench and Cade was going OFF and Wemby was on the floor!!! We have video proof of Cade going off near the end of the game and Castle was on the BENCH… then when Castle checked into the game, not only did Cade stop scoring, but the Spurs went on more runs and took the momentum back. But NOOOOOO everyone thinks Castle aint shit!!
